"Are you by any chance flirting with me?"

He got that usual smirk when he's playful. He grabs her chin to keep still since he's close to Val's face. Kokonoi licks his lips even though she's near.

"Why don't you just tell me who you are?"

"Don't be lazy do what you're boss tells you"

Valerie used her right arm to get his face out of the personal space she still has and pushed him little. He chuckles at what she did.

He put the papers he was reading on the side table, then he gets out of the bed and sits on the chair beside Val. She raised her hand and didn't let Koko speak.

"Just so you know I'm not gonna be swayed by money"

Kokonoi laughed and can't help but be amused at what she said. Every person can be persuaded by money with a few strings to move it really can, but this.....was rather funny situation since she didn't let him speak.

Val furrowed her brows and pouted when she feels like she was not taken seriously. He stopped laughing a bit when he saw Val having a cute reaction.

"Stop pouting Ms. Valerie I might kiss you"

"Hmmp! You'll die if you do"

She's not wrong. Kokonoi would be dead if Mikey was here.

"By the way, what time is it?"

Val can't tell if it's morning yet because of the dark-colored curtains.

"It's 7:30 am now"

With that Valerie asked him if she can have breakfast coz she still have to go home get ready to work. Not that he minds it and asks the maid to prepare some.

While she was at long table waiting for the food, Val had a thought and had a serious look on her face. That didn't go unnoticed by Kokonoi Hajime and he's clearly intrigued at what going on in her head.

'Damn car freshener! If I didn't smell it..I didn't have to wake up late!'

'Wait! Did they already do a background check on me?'

Her thoughts was interrupted when maid served their food which was can only be bought at 5 star restaurant.

"Did Mikey give you a card?"

"Yeah he did"

"That's an invitation for a party"

He explained that 2 months from now there will be an anniversary party for Bonten in secret of course. And close to his birthday, Mikey's birthday.

"Wow you guys get a party too?"

"Keeping their mouth shut is not impossible and it has never failed"

"But not me though"

"Well.....uh...you're an exemption"

After finishing breakfast, He still tried to get information about Val but failed. Valerie asked if she could have change of clothes but Koko being Koko he asked her to take bath too. And then presented her clothes and shoes, Branded stuffs that he bought.
