Rumi dragged kent off to a back alley against his will and then quickly through him into a wall

"Wowowo wait a second, look i'll tell you what you want just don't hurt me." he said

"YOu piss me off, you know that." She said and squatted down "Who is this Dabi and what the hell is he doing messing with Keigo."

"Look, it's a long story."

"Not like we are going anywhere." Rumi said "Why is Dabi here?"

"Look he broke up with his girlfriend but he didn't want to actually have to break up, but it doesn't make any sense, so he came here to get her back but keigo was there and wel things started escalating." Kent explained

"How did Dabi find her?" Rumi asked staring him down

"Well..i was just joking with him and kinda mocking him because he was acting crazy, i followed Keigo on social media and was shocked to see her, i just wanted to poke fun at him." Kent said "I didn't expect it to get this bad."

"Well if it's gotten this bad why are you still helping him?" She asked

"BECAUSE DABI IS A CRAZY MOTHERFUCKER AND STANDING UP TO HIM A DEATH SENTENCE!!" He yelled and she covered dhsi mouth

"Don't scream at me, you are spineless bastard, i hate bystanders like you, so here is the deal, you start doing what you want and i wont kick your ass, you want to stop helping dabi don't you."

"...i do." he said Still muffled by her hand, she removed it and got up

"Look I don't usually like to team up with people, btu ill help you out." She said "Keigo is a good kid and I don't want some crazy asshole ruining what looks like a good relationship for him."

"...is it unrequited love?" Kent asked and she punched his gut

"No way in hell, i'm not into younger guys."she said "Besides i still see him as that little baby faced punk who got his ass beat by me because he thought he could take me in a fight."

"I see...so how am i going to stand up to dabi?" Kent asked

"Oh him, no way he gives me serious red flag vibes, standing up to him is abad idea, you just need to leave, why do you hang around him anyways?" Rum i asked, stealing the food bag he had gotten, oh nice donuts.

"Well i...it's s dumb sob story, Im a hafu." he said

"What's wrong with being a hafu, i'm a hafu." She said

"Really i just thought you were an islander." he said stealing a donut off

"Nah my mom was black and my dad was japanese."she explained

"Was?" Kent said

"Yeah they are both dead, my dad kicked the bucket about a year and half ago, he wanted me to run the dojo so i had a change of heart in my future plans." She said "I don't know who my mom was. She died while in childbirth."

"OH..I'm sorry."

"I've come to terms with it, what about you?" she asked

"Well my mom is japanese and all i know about my dad so that he was american, and a toirst, got my mom pregnant and went back to the states and couldn't contact him, and well had me, so being a hafu and having a single mother who had me while she want married the kids at my school were very mean, and well Dabi came by and stood up for me, i thought he was really cool and i wanted to be like him, but well, guess i tuned into a spineless bastard, pretty sure i broke my mom's heart when i dropped out of highschool and became well this.." he said

"Well it's never too late to go back, and i'm sure your mother would be glad to see you back and get back on track you idiot." she said and slapped the back of his head "Look you just need to leave Dabi with no track, you have the car right?"

"Yeah." he said

"You own the car, you are the one who drives, you can leave, nothing is stopping you, go home Kent don't strain your relationship with your parents before it's too late." She said

"Wow Romi you are actually a very sweet women instead of brute-"

"You want to get punched again?" she asked

"No thanks."

And that's how Kent packed his bag up at the hotel, yup he was doing this he was leaving, Rumi offered to help him and was sitting in his car, to make sure he didn't chicken out last minute, he was taking a while.

Dabi arrived back at the hotel later that night not really knowing what Kent was up to.

"Oh good you're still alive, how did you make it out alive?' Dabi asked

"I ran." he said

"Running away, really?" Dabia sked

"I didn't have much of a choice, also why are you back so early?" Kent asked trying to distract him and act normal

"I couldn't find them, so here I am, we'll just go find them on campus tomorrow." Dabi said, taking out his lighter and a cigarette, as Kent saw the door "Aso what with the backpack?"

Crap

"Well I was just uhm putting my stuff together in case we needed to make a quick escape." Kent said

"You sound uncertain with that reasoning." Dabi said, fiddling with his lighter "You sure that's the answer you want to go with."

Rumi was still sitting in the car when she heard a blood curdling scream admitting from the apartment, god dammit dabi must've gotten back and found out, this is why sometimes you just need to run and not talk to these people. She always had good hearing. It's why she was able to run away from the authoriests when she was younger, she could always hear them coming, so she followed Kents screams and slammed the door open. Why did guys never lock their doors?

She saw Dabi stepping on Kent's chest hovering over him while holding his lighter while Kent was in agonizing pain holding his left eye, dabi looked over at her, just barging into his place.

"So you were the one who gave him the idea to just run off, haven't you ever heard the phrase don't stick your nose in other people's business." He said, as Rumi just gave him one swift kicked to his chest, she really hoped she busted a rib of his and grabbed kent, princess style and ran out, Dabi really did get the wind knocked out of him, as rumi scratch though Kents bag to find the keys to his car, she had drivin enough cars to know what to do, and she also knew where the nearest hospital was.
