You forgot how nice the nighttime could be, it was so much cooler and less people around , Keigo said it would be nice to enjoy some peace and quiet outside and seeing a group of ducks asleep was always very cute to see.

"So (name) i have a question for you?" Keigo asked

"Is it something bad or about my ex again?" you asked look defeated

"No nothing bad, look I was just wondering, how do you feel about me?" he asked, and you went ohhhh it's that type of question, that would be a hard question for you to answer, you were still on your toes on about the whole opening up to dating thing, but you liked him, he was nice and the exact opposite of dabi, but you knew that after the last trainwreck of a relationship, it wasn't the right time, you still had to soart way to manyt hing out.
"I like you." you said blushing a bit "but...i can't be in a relationship right now if that makes sense, i mean Dabi is still stalking me and he might become more deranged if he learns i starts dating again."

"I'm not talking about him, I'm talking about you, look, just imagine there was no ex or anything, what would you do?"

"If i never dated dabi, well then i would like to go out with you then, but right now it's just not a good time, he...messed me up real bad Keigo." you said

"That's exactly what i thought you would say, you know Rumi actually came here to out my feeling towards you, even though i told her that was most likely the outcome." he explained "I don't really know what a healthy relationship is either, i don't think i have ever been in."

"Same." you said
"Well , you think that when you are ready to start dating, you'd keep me in mind?" Keigo said hunching over

"Of course Keigo, i just need some more time to really figure out me, and im gla di have friend like you help me." you said

"So, is there anything else you want to do tonight?" He asked

"I think I just want to walk around a bit." you said standing up off the bench, keigo got up as well as the two of you continued to walk around the lake, keigo going on about how the ducks were free and if he should get a pet duck, you said no, but he seemed to be persistent.

The conversation on the ethics of taking a duck home were on hold when Keigo's phone went off, it was from Rumi.

"Hey Rumi, what's up."

"Hey you remember that guy who was with Dabi, name was kent." Rumi said

"Ugh, what about him?"

"Well dabi attacked home when he tried to leave and is now in the hospital. He burned one of his eye lids and is going to need a skin graph." Rumi said

"He did what now?" Keigo said

"I just told you, look this Dabi is more dangerous than i first perceived, he is worse, look stay safe when you see him."

"Thanks Rumi, I'll keep that in mind." Keigo said and hung up

"What was that about?" you asked

"You know Kent."

"Yeah." you said

"Dabi burned one of his eye lids and he is in the hospital right now." Keigo said

"OH god..oh no no, god dammit." you said "He always uses that as a threat,he seriously went through with it."

"(name), what do you mean the threat he went through with?" eigo asked

"That was his go to threat with people, i've even been on the receiving end of that threat, but he never did it, till now and to Kent no less." you explain and Hawks felt another rbubble of rage inside him, Dabi had threatened you, he swore next time he saw him he would be throwing hands, or well maybe a knife under Dabis eye.

"DO you want to head home for the night?" He asked, and you nodded your head, and you made a mental note to go and see Kent tomorrow in the hospital, you called up Rumi and figure out which one he was out and went in.

And there he was his eye patched up and in the hospital on painkillers that seem to be wearing off

"Hey kenny." you said

"Huh what...oh hiii (name)." he said, still feeling woozy "what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you." you said

"Why would you do that, it's my fault i got you into this mess anyways." he said as you sat down "guess I should come clean, I followed Keigo on social media and well I saw the photo to taunt Dabi, i didn think it would get this far."

"It's alright, you had no way of knowing this would happen, and well you nearly lost your eye..."

"Doctors say I'm going to need glasses now, and it will take a lot of healing... but I'm alive." He said "Still, I helped drive him around and try to get you back...i'm sorry."

"I know, Dabi is an intimidating guy and he helps you out when everyone else is putting you down, makes you feel speile and would withhold that from you or then try to leave making you feel alone if you did stand up, i did date the guy Kenny." you explained "Look i'm here because i see a lot of myself in you, so no hard feelings okay."

"Thanks (name)." Kenny said "Still I feel even worse, his dad called."

"Oh no..." you said

"And offered me a 50 thousand dollar settlement and the cost to my surgery and recovery if i said I wouldn't press changes." he said

"I know you have always struggled financially, Kenny, and even if you did press changes his dad would just be one of his lawyer buddies and keep the case going on, you can't offer to take it to court I know that."

"You seem to know Dabi well." Kenny said "So I'm taking the settlement and heading back home once my eye is okay...I miss my mom."

"I'm sure she is worried about you, i mean you are only 18, you shouldn't be out with a guy like dabi." you said "well it was nice talking to you Kenny, it's been awhile."

"Thanks (name), again I'm sorry, I promise I'll be better after this."

"You better or ill track you done and beat some sense into you." you said

"I think Rumi has that covered take care." he said
