Stefan Salvatore had a bad feeling every time Bonnie Bennett was around and right now it was at its highest level as the girl gave him an obviously fake smile. He wasn't stupid he knew she was a Bennett witch they were the only witch family still left in Mystic Falls but he wondered if she knew what she was. What bothered him the most was how her friend group looked at him the same way she did with anger and pity.
He was just about to approach them when Elena walked up to him and he could not help but to smile she was beautiful and always smiling unlike Katherine her hair wasn't curly but straight and her eyes seemed to be filled with innocence. She looked at him with concern "Stefan are you alright?" He smiled and intertwined their hands "Yeah I'm just a bit surprised are your brother and Bonnie dating?" Elena glanced over at the group

Bonnie was leaning on Jeremy while talking to Caroline who was showing Bonnie some photos. The reason Stefan asked was probably due to the fact Bonnie and Jeremy were matching and Jeremy had his arm casually on the shorter girl's shoulder and neither seemed bothered. While Bonnie at 16 was only a year older than Jeremy which bothered Elena everyone else was fine with it. So she just looked at Stefan and shrugged " honestly don't know every time I ask they give me vague responses"
Stefan nodded and turned his attention to his phone "Let's go before we need up late to Tanner's hellhole" he smiled when Elena giggled before grabbing her stuff and walking beside him what he failed to notice was how she looked back at the group Stefan was watching before and glared at them. Honestly, Elena hated Bonnie the girl always took her attention everyone seemed to love Bonnie with her kind smile and loving nature.
She hated how Caroline, Matt and Jeremy seemed to flock around the girl she missed the days when Caroline felt inferior to her and Matt did anything for her but now she had Stefan and he looked at her like she was a goddess additionally she knew that each of the founding families was wealthy so she was hoping to benefit from the Salvatore fortune.
She smiled at Stefan and started talking about the pep rally nothing made her happier than the way he looked at her it just seemed to ensure her success.
Bonnie looked after Elena as she and Stefan walked to History and tilted her head "That boy is either in love with her looks or personality either way it's all Katherine" as she said that Matt nodded along. Turning to Jeremy he said "Heads up I saw Damon at the Grill this morning he was trying to flirt with Jenna it didn't go well" The trio looked at Matt in surprise while a frown appeared on Bonnie's face this never happened before initially, Damon went after Caroline but since they never met he was trying to find a new way to get under Stefan's skin.
