"And My name is on the buzzer." Kate spoke guilty, They all stood very still for a moment, "Oh no. Get down." Clint said pulling them both down. Two bottles were thrown through the windows of Kate's apartment starting a fire, Clint quickly lead them towards the window, breaking the window in order to catch the next bottle and throw it their way.

Kate grabbed her bow and a few arrows shooting one into another bottle that would've been thrown into her apartment. "Told Ya." she said smiling brightly, "Yeah," Clint said admitting defeat.

the flames were engulfing Kate's apartment, and the suit happens to be right in the center of them, "We have to get the suit." Clint said, spotting the fire extinguisher, Kate shoots it with another arrow, causing it to fly around the apartment and almost take off all of their heads, before shooting through the window towards the Tracksuit Mafia.

The three of them ducked down by the steps, "You have a fire escape?" Clint asked, "My home! All my stuff!!" Kate exclaimed looking at the flames, "Just grab the dog and go." Clint ordered, the three of them stood up rushing through the apartment, "What about the suit?" Kate asked, "Leave it. We'll come back for it." he said urging the two of them to keep moving.

Between the years of being on the run post-Sokovia accords, and years of training, Iskra had become a master of hiding the shadows, so it wasn't a surprise when she took the lead of getting the three of them to the subway station unseen. "So where are we going?" Kate asked as they walked down the stairs, "Getting further away from those people who are trying to kill you." Clint answered dryly. "Right. And after that?" she asked, "We'll need to get supplies."

Iskra noticed that there was always an underlying bounce in Kate's step, even after her apartment just went up in flames, she had to say she was a bit envious of the girl's joy. "Hell yeah! Avengers supplies?" Kate spoke, "Pretty eyes, it's not as exciting as you would think." Iskra said as they stepped onto the subway.

Eventually, the three of them found themselves at a convenience store, "Not gonna lie to you, this is a bit of a letdown." Kate said, Clint rolled his eyes, "Sorry to disappoint you. Wanna grab some of that rubbing alcohol over there. Lower shelf." Kate moved to grab the rubbing alcohol, "So, what's the plan now? Let me guess we're going to your safe house." Kate says, causing Iskra to scoff, "We ran out of those when SHIELD fell."

"What about the Avengers Tower?" Kate asked, "Tony sold that. A few years ago." Clint answered walking away, Kate paused for a few moments, and Iskra stood with her, "That is so sad, on so many levels." she said mostly to herself, "Tell me about it." Iskra said before following Clint.

The dog was messing with Clint as they stood in line to checkout, "All right. What is it? What do you want with me?" He asked looking down at the dog. Kate give clint a bit of side-eye, and Iskra laughed a little to herself, "Look, I gotta find a place to stash you. Safe." Clint started to tell her, "So I can recover the suit and clean up your mess."  Kate narrowed her eyes, "Stash me? I'm not a bag of money." Clint shrugged, "No you're not. A bag of money would actually be useful to me." saying the last part more under his breath.

If Iskra hadn't seen it a million times, she might've been concerned at how fast he changed expressions, "Hi, how are you? Merry Christmas." he said to the cashier, Iskra almost rolled her eyes at the fake cheeriness. Kate stepped up in between Iskra and Clint, "I actually do know a place, about ten blocks away. Would a bag of money know a place?" she asked sarcastically, and Iskra hide a small smile at the sarcastic comment.

They walked in the cold much longer than Iskra would've liked but eventually came to an apartment building of sorts, Kate scanned the list of labels before choosing one and began to press buttons, turning back towards Iskra and Clint awkwardly. Someone did end up answering, "Uh yes, yeah uh... Pizza, we're...I've got Pizza." she started, "huh. What?" the person over the com interrupted, "I got pizza..uh-huh." the door unlocked with a buzz, and Kate just shrugged at them.

Kate leads the way up the steps before coming to a door, "It's my aunt's place, she's in Florida for the winter. Hold that for me." Kate said handing Iskra the bow, Kate picked the lock fairly quickly.

"Are there cats in here?" Clint asked, "Nope just cat hair," Kate paused, "A lot of it."  Iskra scrunched up her nose, moving to grab some disinfectant from the bag, she had burned her arm when they were trying to get through Kate's apartment, "Here. I need you to clean your wounds. Use this." he said pulling something out of the bag, "Use soap, this, and disinfectant." he gave Kate instructions, "Alright, I'm going to your apartment to get that suit. And then I'm going back to my kids." Clint said,

"I'm sorry, your kids? Please tell me you didn't leave Cooper in charge." Iskra said, Clint, shrugged, "He's a lot older now, you know?" Iskra moved her eyes to the floor, she felt guilty about not seeing them in so long. "Oh yes, Clint. You may enter my apartment." Kate said sarcastically, "Don't you need my keys?" she asked, "Nope I'm good, stay here," he paused making eye contact with Iskra, "Both of you." Iskra opened her mouth to protest but he cut her off, "Lock this door."

Iskra hissed slightly at the feeling of the disinfectant on the burn,  "Are you ok?" Kate asked speaking directly to Iskra for the first time, Iskra shrugged, "I've had way worse." the statement seemed to get Kate's interest, "Like what?" Iskra wrapped her arm in a bandage, "I once jumped out of a helicopter with a bullet lodged in my thigh." Kate's eyes widened, "Really? That's so cool...but also extremely not cool, were you trying to get yourself killed?" Kate said attempting to correct herself midway through the statement, Iskra rolled her eyes, but still had to hide a small smile.

Kate began to treat her wounds, but Iskra stopped her, "Ah nope, you are doing this all wrong." Iskra noted, stepping forward to help the brunette, Iskra leaned against the table tilting Kate's head up a little, she gently wiped the cut with a cue tip, "It's not as bad as it could be." Iskra said with a shrug, "For future reference, you're gonna want to put these perpendicular to it, you wanna close the cut, and this helps it cinch." Iskra's voice fades away when she makes eye contact with Kate, just now realizing how close their faces were to each other. "Wow," Iskra said but it was very breathy more like a whisper, and then she stood up walking away from Kate, pretending as if nothing happened.
