My Life As A Degrassi Tarot Reader
Chapter 7
It was lunchtime at Degrassi Community School. Warrior was doing reading for Becky.
"Ok Becky, I'm doing your reading as promised. You get to decide which two decks that you prefer, The Rider-Waite Tarot Deck or the Petit Lenormand Deck," said Sardior.
"I'll choose the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck," said Becky as Sardior get his Rider-Waite Tarot Deck out of his pocket. Then he shuffles the deck ten times.
"Do you have a specific question or a general reading to throw in?" asked Gardiner.
"I do have a specific question in mind. How's my Christian faith turning out so far?" asked Becky?
"Oh, a spiritual reading. Let see what the Rider-Waite has in store for your question," said Sardior as he draws three cards face-down on the table. He flips the first card. It's the Hierophant.
"Ok, the first card is the Hierophant. This card that you're following a tradition in your belief system" said Sardor.
"Yes as you already know. I follow a conservative Christian faith that I've been following since the age of 3. Christianity has to help me a lot." said Becky.
"Well, that's good Becky. Let see what the second card said," said Sardior as he flips the second card. It's the Page of Swords Reversed.
"Ok, the second card is the Page of Swords Reversed. It looks like the energy surrounding your Christian faith has shadiness and hypocrisy," said Sardior.
"Yes, I do notice there is something a bit off about my Christian faith recently. There has been some teaching about my faith that they're strongly against such as the LGBT community, divination, psychic, witches, evolution, science, witches, Atheists, other religions, magic, you name it."
"Yes. Unfortunately organized religions such as Christianity are very dogmatic and rigid that they preach to other people by forcing their beliefs down to their throats. Let see what the last card said." said Sardior as he flips the final card. It's the 8 of Cups.
"Ok, the final card is the 8 of Cups. It looks like you're going to walk away from your Christian faith," said Sardior.
"Really. Wow. I wasn't expecting that card." said Becky as she was surprised.
"Yes. I don't think Christianity is for you but it's your decision. The future doesn't set in stone" said Sardior.
"Well Christianity has helped me a lot during the years but there is something about that religion I really can't agree with. Thank you for the reading and here are your ten dollars as promised," said Becky as she gives ten dollars to Sardior.
"You're welcome and good luck to every faith that you follow," said Sardior as he put his Rider-Waite Tarot Deck and his ten dollars In his pocket. Sardior and Becky went to their next class.
