It was Monday afternoon at Degrassi Community School at lunchtime. Sardior was doing tarot reading for Manny Santos.

"Ok, Manny. Do you have a specific question you want to ask or a general reading to throw in?" asked Sardior.

"Yes. This is a more serious and health-related question. Am I pregnant?" asked Manny.

"As in getting the baby in nine months pregnant?" asked Sardior.

"Yes also I want to know if my baby will survive during my nine months pregnancy," said Manny.

"Well, normally I steer away from health-related questions. Secondly, you should ask your doctor if you are pregnant. But for the sake of entertainment purposes only, I'll do your pregnancy reading." said Sardior as he shuffles his Rider-Waite Tarot Deck ten times. He draws three cards face-down on the table.

"Before I flip the cards face-up. I going to say that I have a pretty good feeling that the Empress card will be in this reading," said Sardior as he flips the first card face-up. It's The Empress.

"I knew it. I knew The Empress will be included in this reading. My intuition was right. Traditionally The Empress means that you're pregnant. You're going to have a baby." said Sardior.

"Oh my gosh. I am pregnant. What do the other cards say?" asked Manny as Sardior flips the second card? It's The Tower.

"Oh boy. The Tower means something catastrophic will happen during your pregnancy," said Sardior.

"Oh no. I want to know will my baby be okay," asked Manny.

"Let see," said Sardior as he flips the final card. It's the 10 of Swords.

"I hate to say this Manny but the 10 of Swords means that your pregnancy will end in ruin and disaster. Your baby will die from miscarriage. I'm very sorry Manny." said Sardior as he frowns.

"No," said Manny as she starts to cry. Sardior gives tissue to Manny. Manny was wiping her tears with the tissue.

"Of all the reading I that I have read this is one of the saddest readings that I did. I knew that there will be the Empress in this reading but I wasn't expecting The Tower and the 10 of Swords in this reading. I thought it will be a good and happy reading but this is one of those readings that is very sad." said Sardior.

"Thank you for your reading Sardior. Now I know what to expect during my pregnancy. Here are your twenty dollars." said Manny as she gave Sardior twenty dollars.

"You're welcome and I'm sorry that this wasn't the reading that you hope for. I hope you take care of yourself," said Sardior.

"I will. Goodbye Sardior," said Manny as she walks away. Sardior put his twenty dollars and his deck and went to his next class.
