The next morning at Degrassi Community School everybody at Degrassi attended the Basketball Playoffs where the Degrassi Basketball was up against the Toronto High School.
"Hey Sardior, didn't you mention that might be some trouble during the game in your reading?" asked Chronepsis.
"Yes. The 9 of Swords means there will be fear and anxiety with the Degrassi Basketball Team," said Sardior. The game was started. Bahamut was dibbling the ball. He passed it to Jimmy. Jimmy tried to shoot but one of the male Toronto High School players block Jimmy. A female Toronto High School players go the ball. She shoots a 3 pointer and successfully made the shot. It was Degrassi's turn. Eric dibbled past it to Bonnie. Bonnie pass it to T.J. T.J. shoots and missed it. Everybody in Degrassi groans.
"Don't worry. This is just the beginning of the game. There's still a chance that we will win." said Sardior. It was Toronto High School turn the female Toronto basketball player shoot another 3 pointers. She successfully made another shot.
"Isn't anyone going to block this player? We named some defense out there. Bahamut, you're on the bench. K.C. you're subbing for Bahamut." said Darryl. Bahamut went to the bench and K.C. was subbing to take Bahamut's place.
"Hey what the score?" asked Tamara.
"Degrassi 1, Toronto-15," said Astilabor.
"Oh no," said Tamara.
"And this is just the first quarter of the game," said Astilabor.
"Ok this is the part where everything turns the table with Degrassi," said Sardior. The first quarter ends. The second quarter starts where the Degrassi cheerleaders perform their cheer. They left the court and the second quarter started with Natalie, Sean, Ryan, Peter, and Danny. The second quarter started the male Toronto dribble and shoot but Danny blocks the ball. The school cheered and chanted "Defense".
"Great block Danny. Keep it up," said Darryl.
Sean got the ball he shoots the 3 pointers and he made the shot successfully. The score for Degrassi is 4 and Toronto 15. The male Toronto basketball player pass but Natalie interpreted by catching the ball. She passed the ball to Ryan and he shoots on the backboard and made it successfully. The score for Degrassi is 18 and Toronto 17. This was the end of the second quarter.
"Wow Degrassi is in the lead," said Paige.
"Yes I knew that Degrassi will turn around," said Sardior as the third quarter started. Bonnie made a 3 pointer. She made it successfully in the hoop. The score for Degrassi is 21 and Toronto 17. Bahamut made a 3 pointer. He successfully scored in the hoop. The score for Degrassi is 34 and Toronto 20. That was the end of the third quarter.
"Wow, our team is killing Toronto. If we keep this up we're in the Playoffs and advance to the Championship," said Paige.
"Yes. We're in a good lead so far," said Sardior as the fourth quarter started. Jimmy passed the ball to Bahamut. Bahamut shoots a three-pointer and he made the shoot. The score is 37 for Degrassi, Toronto 20. The female Toronto player shoots the ball but Bonnie blocks her shot. 5 seconds remaining. Bahamut shoots a 3 point buzzer ring and he made the shot. Degrassi's score is 50, Toronto's score is 25. Degrassi won the Playoff and everyone is cheering.
"Well, Sardior. It looks like your basketball reading resonates once again," said Chronepsis.
"Yes, my reading has been very accurate so far. I knew they will win," said Sardior as everyone continues to cheer.
