Rose walked out into the garden in the back of Grimuauld Place. She was standing in a valley of red, yellow, and orange flowers. Dragonflies and other creatures would zoom passed her. The breeze hit her skin as small white snowflakes fell onto the earth. The garden here was a beautiful place. It extended out from the mansion unto miles of unknown land. A lake was somewhere in the patch of woods. Also, deep in the wood, was a tree house built for Rose,Scorpius, and Albus.

She sat in the meadow of flowers gazing up at the sky thoughtfully. A single purple butterfly ran past her head. She giggled as it made fast circles around her head.

"Sickle for your thoughts." Said a familiar voice interupting her thoughts. She turned her face towards the tall blond haired boy standing behind her. She bit her lip and turned back around. She was in no mood to talk right now. especially him. Yes, he was her best friend but she loathed him just as much as she loved him.

"What?" she snapped.

Scorpius walked up beside her and sat down next to her in the pile of flowers. Rose didn't look at him she kept her blue eyes on the purple butterfly running around the garden. She was hoping for him to get the hint and walk away and go play Quidditch. But, he didn't. He knew that's what she wanted but he stayed.

"What's on your mind Red?" He asked. Red. there's that nickname again. She rolled her eyes and lifted her blue hood up over to cover her hair. Of course that's where she had gotten the blasted name from. She knew he ment it in the friendliest of ways but it made her mad at times. Only because that's all he ever called her: Weasly or Red. Never Rose.

"Things." She replied still following the insect prancing around in the air. She would tell him what had gotten her down but she'd put up a fight for it. She was in the mood to scream her head off and hex any being willing to yell back. But she knew he wouldn't yell back unless the reason was his fault then the yelling would begin. Scorpius was her friend because he could put up with her blunt comments, her pointless rants, her angry moments.

"I would assume things." He said giving her a small smirk as she sent a small glare in his direction. Retort he would. Yell? Oh never! Retort back calmly? of course. And it ticked her off that he could keep himself so calm when she would snap at the smallest insult. "But what kind of things is the better question."

"People." She replied in a one worded answer again.

"That's expected." He said. She rolled her eyes and faced him her face slightly pink.

"Do you have to be so bloody calm!?" she yelled.

He shrugged. "You should try it. Your voice never hurts due to lack of screaming."

She turned back to the butterfly and waited for him to question her once more. She also stalled to have time to word her answers carefully. This was a skill of hers she cherished. Wording things to her advantage. Once more he asked something.

"Who?"

"Ashton." She smirked to herself as she said this. This answer of hers would make him mad. She could get him out of his calm state of mind just with this simple name. And she knew it too. it was his turn to be pink and stare off into the land. Much to her surprise he kept his calm demeanor.

"What did that git do to you, Weasly?" ' he asked with hid jaw set. Ah, git,Weasly. He was angry. All because of the one word Ashton. Ashton could make Scorpius throw the biggest fit if he so much as grinned at him the wrong way. Rose knew this fact too.

"I honestly don't feel to comfortable speaking with you on this topic."

"Why?" he asked quirking an eyebrow at her.

"You are a boy. That's pretty much the main reason." She told him.

"Please, Merlin Please, tell me you aren't pregnant." He pleaded.

She laughed. " Oh he'll no! Quite the opposite."

No response.

" He wants sex. We had a row last night because I refused." She explained.

His mouth formed an o. He didn't comment. She waited for him too. No doubt he's thinking a bunch of foul comments in that messed up mind of his. Scorpius had what Rose liked to call his own book of Ups and Downs. Whenever there was a good trait of Scorpius there was some bad thing underlying there. For example, he was a loyal and kind person but he was only this way around his friends. She was very weary of him at first. She wasn't suppose to have associated with him at all but things happened.

"Are y'all over?" a voice asked from somewhere behind them. Rose sighed and smiled a bit as Albus Sat down on the other side of her. He like always, was in the background watching, listening, observing. He came out of the shadows when the time was right. Always. He had that fortunate skill. Patience. A skill which Rose lacked.

"No you dimwit. Have fun eavesdropping?" she asked sarcastically. She raised her hand and smacked the back of his head. He made a noise and rubbed the spot she hit. She giggled. Scorpius snorted and laid back in the grass.

"So,um...." Scorpius said trying to drown out the silence that had come upon the trio. Laughter and screams were heard behind them in the distance. Most likely Lily and her cousins playing around. Rose laid back as well, Albus followed suit.

"Falcons won." Rose said.

Albus groaned. "Shut up."
