Rose awoke with a bright light shinning in her eyes. She groaned and nurture her face under her blanket. She felt a soft paw tap at her head. Rose rolled over in an attempt to stop it. The cat meowed and continued to walk across her red hair. Rose swatted it away. She heard a soft chuckle and jumped up. Standing at her doorway was Hugo. She raised her eyebrow curiously.
"Morning." Hugo said cheerfully. Rose Sat up with her back against the black headboard. She pet the Orange tabby in her lap.
"Yes?" Rose asked.
Hugo walked in closing the door and sitting on her bed.
"What?" Rose hissed.
Hugo shrugged.
"Dunno. I haven't really talks to you lately." Hugo said awkwardly. "Um Uncle Harry is letting Lily and I attend the ball thing."
Rose bit her lip. Lily was going? What of she tried something on Scorpius. Not that Rose minded. Oh who was she kidding? Of course she did. But Lily always has guys hanging on her arm so she'll find someone for the night. Right? Rose looked at the clock on the wall. It said '9:30 December 30' Rose smacked her forehead.
"That's balls today!?!?" she shrieked. Hugo nodded
"Er...Yea"
There was a knock on the door.
"Its open."
Hermione poked her head in. "Time to get up honey."
"I'm up. " Rose said. Hermione smiled at her two children. They barley talked like this so Hermione decided not to ruin the moment. Hermione nodded and shut the door behind her.
"uh Rose?" Hugo asked, looking up nervously. Rose nodded. "I like this girl and-"
"Woah!" Rose said lifting her hands up to hush her brother. "If your asking for girl advice you should go talk to Lily or Victorie. Sorry but that's not my forte. "
Hugo laughed and Rose giggled along. "okay." Hugo stepped off her bed and walked to Rose. He gave her a hug. Rose grinned and hugged him back.
"Love you." Rose said.
"You two." Then Hugo left.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Rose tip-toed to Lily's room. She knocked lightly on the soft pink door. She heard Lily humming inside. A few seconds later Lily opened the door. She was in the middle of doing her hair as one side was strait and the other curly. That made Rose giggle.
"Can I come in?" Rose asked.
" 'Course. " Lily said, walking away and letting her in. Rose walked in to the lavender room and sat on the ivory bead. She watched Lily brush out her strawberry blond hair.
"So did you get a date for the ball?"
"Lorcan Scamander."
"Ah."

Rose let Lily brush out her wavy, dark red hair. She was brushing forcefully trying to get all the knots out at the bottom. Rose was applying make-up as she did her hair. She started lining her striking blue eyes with black eyeliner. She added a dark, glimmering blue as shadow. On her cheeks, she dusted them with a light pink. Her lips were smeared with a dark matte red. Lily finished brushing her hair out and was currently styling it.
Rose couldn't believe she was letting her younger cousin fix her up for the ball. Especially Lily. Rose had to admitt she was doing a pretty good job doing her hair and make up. Lily had gotten ready before her so she was completley focused on Rose. As she was styling the older Weasley, she was gossiping about every imaginable person on the planet. Right now she was on their older cousin, Victorie.
