Loyalty (Rose Weasly and Scorpius Malfoy Love Story)

Chapter 10- The Ball

Her family, or the people that were attendending the ball, had apparated a few seconds ago and were now at ball room in Minister Shacklebolts Manor. Rose grinned a little at the sight. It was lighted dimly and music played. In this room, soft piano like songs played and older looking people twilred around. Rose didn't see anyone around her age.

"Okay, kids, you're at that room over there." Uncle Harry said, pointing twoards a room with a closed door. Scorpius looked at her and shrugged. She followed Albus and him out that way. The other room was typical teen party matirial. Upbeat pop music soundedthrough the room. Diffrent collored stage lights flashed across the room. Dressed up teens danced around.

Albus laughed giddlily. "You've got to be kidding me! You think someone snuck in Fire Whiskey?!"

Rose shrugged. "I dunno. Is James here?"

"Yes."

"Then yes."

ALbus grinned and ran off twoards a group of friends. Scorpius chuckled and leaned down so he was beside her ear."You look amazing." he whispeared. The close contanct and compliment made her shiver. She thanked him. A diffrent song began to play. Scorpius nervousley scratched the back of his neck. "Do you er, want to dance?"

Lily glared at her cousin and Scorpius as they danced beside each other laughing. Lily angrily took a sip out of her cup containing punch, spiked with Fire  Whiskey. (All credit to James) Lily narrowed her eyes as a slow song sounded and they rushed together, arms around eachother. Her date, Lorcan or was it Lysander?, asked her to dance.

"She'll be there in a moment Scamaner. Now if you don't mind I'd like to have a word with my cousin." Victorie walked up, in a new pink dress. Lily sighed and smiled at her date as he walked off. Victorie sat next to her a small grin on her lips.

"What?" Lily snapped.

"Oh, grouchy!" Victore said. "Just wanted to chat!" she spoke inncoently.

Lily knew better. "About what?"

"Oh nothing." She said, letting a small silence creep up. "Strange couple huh?"

Lily took a deep breath and made a poker face. "Yea, odd indeed." she agreed.

Victorie rolled her eyes and scoffed. "No need to act innocent dear. I know you hate that she's got him"

Lily made a noise. "Please! She doesn't even have him! They're only friends."

Victorie smirked. "Are you trying to convice yourself?"

Lily stayed silent.

"I could help you. Together, we can get you Scorpius. I know that's what you want." Victorie offered, whispering softly. An evil glint in her eyes.

Lily bit her lip and looked around. "What's in it for you?"

Victorie's smirk grew. "Revenge. Rose Weasley does not know who she's dealing with."Victorie said proudly looking at Lily's bright green eyes.

Lily gulped. She didn;t wish any harm on Rose. But if that's what it took for her to get Scorpius then so be it. "What did you have in mind?"

Rose wrapped her arms around Scorpius's neck as a slow dance begun. She jumped inside when Scorpius's hands were placed on her hips.They swayed gently to the music. This moment couldn't be more perfect. She didn't care about anytrhing else. Not that, Albus kept smirking at her. Not that certain ladies kept sending her glares, not that guys kept tryign to claw her off Scorpius. All she saw was him. Scorpius leaned down and rested his forehead against hers. 

"Thank you." She said softly. Scorpius pulled her closer.

"For?"

"Letting me come with you." she said, her giant blue eyes looking up at his stone grey ones.

Scorpius chuckled. "Oh, Rose, it should be me thanking you. You have know idea how long i've wanted to do something like this with you." he said, his fingers starting to drum against her hips. Rose bit her lip and her gaze dropped down to his smirking lips. She wonderded what they'd feel like against hers. But why wonder? Why not try?

So she did she reached up and placed her lips against his. He froze, but soon enough he began kissing back. Rose' felt her lips tingle and she was right. This moment couldn't be more perfect.
