Three more days. Every day that passes I get more and more anxious. I am so nervous to be in a room with all these people I don't even know and have to dance in front of all of them. Lessons have been going well. Thankfully Alonzo has been so patient with me. He just laughs at my mistakes to make me feel better than to cry to give up.
I feel embarrassed sometimes when we have to get really close. I mean, we are close when we go to bed and all, but with him looking into my eyes, holding my waist and just being the fine man he is, makes my knees weak.
Speaking of Alonzo. He begins to stir awake on the other side of the bed. I've been up for a little bit so I had to detach him from my waist to go to the bathroom. When i got back he had his arms around a pillow fast asleep.
"Mhm." He snuggles his head into the pillow but then stops suddenly.
I choke back giggles as he fists the pillow noticing it's not me until he chucks it suddenly and opens his eyes slowly looking at me. I burst into laughter, unable to hold it in anymore. "How'd your pillow-snuggle-sesh go?" I mock.
He grunts and yanks me underneath him with each of his arms on either side of me. "You think it's funny?"
I nod my head, biting on my bottom lip to stop myself from laughing.
He stares down for a hot second, gazing between my eyes to my lips. I get nervous and try to push him off but he doesn't even budge. "So strong." I tease, pinching his biceps— realizing just how hard they are. I mean I knew he had big arms, but they are like legit hard muscles. This breaks the serious look on his face and he just laughs, rolling on top of me. "Gotcha." I laughed with him.
"It's not even funny." He brushes off, trying to stop laughing.
"But you still laughed." I point a finger in his face matteraffactly.
"But I still laughed." He repeats. He finishes his laughter before letting out a breath and pulling back up over me. "We have to get on the plane today." He states in a sleepy voice.
"We do?" I replied.
He nods his head. "We will leave for the airport in an hour."
I panic. "I have to pack then!" I scoot out from underneath him and sit against the headboard for a second but he stops me.
"I thought you would have learned by now that you don't need to pack." He chuckles.
"I know, but I still feel bad." I explain.
He smiles. "I know you do." He then does a mini push up and rests down onto my lap.
I giggle. "You're such a baby."
He snaps back up and begins to tickle the living daylights out of me.
"Stop!" I squeal, trying my absolute best to push him off but I can't. All I manage is to flip onto my back and push my behind into his stomach and he lets off to grip my waist to stop me. I get away and go into the bathroom, shutting the door.
I laugh and take in my victory. Though, it's short lived. My dumbass didn't lock the door so he came right in.
"Hey! What if I was changing!" I exclaim.
He tilts his head. "So?"
"Oh my gosh." I roll my eyes and push him to the doorway. "Don't even. I have to shower."
He pauses. "...So?"
"Goodness gracious. Out." I groan with a laugh.
He just shakes his head.
"Stop acting like a twelve year old." I roll my eyes again.
Alonzo suddenly takes me by the hips and drives me into the bathroom sink and leans over me. Every inch he advances over me, I lean back until my head hits the vanity behind me.
"Hey, that isn't fair." I point out.
"No, what isn't fair is you being in the world for all the other people to be jealous of."
Oh my goodness. "Really?" I squeak quietly.
He comes in closer and kisses me gently. Teasing my lip with his teeth until our teeth graze past one another. Him being this close makes my knees weak, it obviously doesn't help that he is holding my lower waist with his lips attached to mine.
I put my hands on the sides of his face, feeling the stubble against my palm. Our tongues meet for the briefest second before he pulls away. "Enjoy your shower amore."
Now that is unfair.
