I settle on the couch at the very back of the plane. Buchanon and Lorenzo sit on the floor in front of me, looking scared. God I hate Nico. Alonzo sits next to me and pulls me into him so I'm leaning against him. I felt comfortable until Nico boarded the plane. It's nice to see Remy again, although she looks skinnier and paler than before.

Nico claims a seat on the other side of the plane. Remy follows him without question and is told to sit right next him. He puts his hand around her waist but doesn't even acknowledge her. He more does it just to piss Alonzo off— who is starring Nico down with hatred in his eyes.

This is going to be an awkward two hours.

Which it was. Alonzo tried to cheer me up by a constant light back rub and he handed me my book so I could read. I ended up finishing that but within an hour because I didn't have much left to read. I wanted to start another one but I just wasn't in the reading mood so I sat there and twiddled my thumbs for the next hour and a half.

"Aereo che atterra in dieci minuti." Someone over the mic informs us.

"I bet you know what they said, Reagan." Nico pipes up.

I panic. Although, I know what was said was something about ten minutes. I don't respond out of fear, thinking Nico will do something. But I know Alonzo wouldn't let him do anything.

"Huh?" Nico laughs.

"Stai zitto e lasciala in pace." Alonzo snaps. Nico chuckles before focusing back down onto his phone.

I looked at Alonzo and asked him what was said. "The plane is going to land in ten minutes." Was his answer.

I just nodded my head and continued to sit there.

Thankfully, soon the plane lands and we get off quickly. I still haven't gone to the bathroom and Alonzo must have remembered because instead of leading me to a car, he brings me to a cart outside the airport and drives me inside so I can go. The dogs came with us, sitting on the back of the cart with ease.

"Thanks." I say when I come back out of the restroom where he is waiting for me.

"No problem." He says with a sigh before leading me back outside.

The ride to the hotel is quick. It's nice because there is no Nico and Rome is so beautiful to look at.

"I am pretty busy today and tomorrow. But the day of the Gala I'll be free and we can spend the day together, I promise." Alonzo says to me once we reach our hotel room— which is more of a penthouse.

"What am I supposed to do?" I ask mindlessly as I wander around the estate.

"I'd prefer you to stay here just for safety precautions. But you can go out and about as long as Marco is with you." He explains.

I nod my head. "Alright."

Alonzo comes over to me, pulling me into a hug and kisses my eyebrow. "I'll see you later."

"Okay, just don't be out too late." I ordered.

"Yes Ma'am." He salutes.

I smirk. "Don't miss me too much."

"I'll try." He grins, kissing me one more time before leaving through the door.

I sigh when he leaves, but look down to the tired dogs who are standing beside me. Planes are just so exhausting to be on. I read somewhere that you're tired after a flight because of the lack of oxygen in your blood afterward because the air is so thin. All that is telling me is that I need a nap.
