I wake up next to Astrid who is still sleeping. I get up smelling something good down stairs. Just as I'm about to go downstairs I hear Astrid mummble something under her breath and turn around getting a shirt(my tunic) thrown in my face. "What the-" " put a shirt on hic" she says peeking at me with one eye laughing. I then remember I got hot and took it off last night.

I laugh too turning to face her as she moves the pillow so she can see clearly. " what babe? Can't handle this much rawr vikingness?" She laughs into the pillow as a blush creeps on her gace. " just put a shirt on babe!" "You want to keep this much raw vikingness contained?! There will be consequenses!!!!" She laughs again sitting up as I walk over to the bed sitting next to her wrapping my arms around her and resting my head on her shoulder. She leans into my embrace. " no I don't want this contained" she slides a hand over my chest onto my leg. "Its just that I don't want anyone else to see what's clearly my sexy husband shirtless" she smirks. I laugh " fine only because I love you and I'm starving"

After I put my shirt on I rush down the stairs as Astrid lays down again because of back pains. I hug my mother and look over her shoulder at whats on the table.
" looks good!" I say sitting across from her. She laughs and goes to get an extra plate for Astrid when she wakes up. "Good morning hiccup" she smiled I grinn and start eating. She sits down again. "How's Astrid?" I sigh " oh you know 8 months...back pains.....mood swings.... Torture for her" I smile as she laughs " well its a good thing there's only one month left" we smile at each other. My smile disappears when I hear Astrid calling my name. " hiccup! Hiccup!!!!! Get up here quick!!" I give mom a concerned look and run up the stairs trying not to get my metal leg caught on anything.

When I get up stairs Astrid is sitting up breathing fast and her fast scrunched up in pain. I run to her side as she puts both hands on her stomach " Astrid whats wrong?!" I ask as she muffles a small scream. She glances at me as my mother comes up stairs " oh no" mom gasps seeing Astrid. " hiccup I think she's having contractions!" I look at her wide eyed " what? She's.." " she's going into labor hiccup! I'll get Gobber, Astrid try to take deep breaths! I'll be right back" I rub Astrid's back as she recovers from the first contraction, leaning into my chest. " hic.....I'm scared..." I rub her back again " I know babe....but it'll all be okay. Soon our little haddock will be here..." She sits up looking at me. " I love you hic" " I love you too Astrid" we kiss. And she wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap mine around her waist. She kisses my neck and slowly gets up with my help. As we hear Gobber's heavy footsteps. When he reaches the room Astrid goes into another contraction as Gobber and I bring her to gothie......

When we get there Astrid is moaning in pain. Gothie leads Astrid in the room but I'm still standing outside wide eyed,shocked.... The door closes as I see gothie,Gobber,and my mother all surrounded around Astrid as she moans in pain again. I stand still as I realize whats happening.......

My baby is on the way......
