CHAPTER 8 | VMIN (pt 3)

The months after their first date, Jimins life was filled with ecstasy, he didn't believe he was dating, and that too the one he dearly loves, he had started planning his future already, Job, marriage, children etc etc. And was only waiting for the right time to tell Taehyung.

But one thing he repeatedly kept misunderstanding is that a marriage/ relationship will never last when it's planned, these things have to be done by the flow and to go through all the obstacles smoothly, it never clicked Jimin even now or then he made this same one mistake.

Months went by, dates after dates, make outs after make outs, movies after movies. Nothing was a mess and the two of them loved their moments. Jimin had introduced Taehyung to Kai when he returned a few days back and he had many parties too, Jimin bringing Taehyung to all of Kais business parties while Kai had a different boyfriend for each party, this kinda questioned Taehyung on Kais personality but Jimin reassured him saying Kai was just playing around and it was nothing big to worry.

Jimin was laying down on his bed after a tiresome day, as high-schoolers syllabus are quite long compared to middle schoolers so he had stay an extra hour to finish a few group assignments. He was home by 7 and went straight to bed, giving a thumbs down to his father as a way of saying he had a bad day. Jimin wanted to talk to Taehyung the most and that too on his bad times to calm his self but he felt like he's disturbing Taehyung just to satisfy his mind. When Jimin reached out for his phone from his right pocket there were already few texts from Taehyung which made him smile.

Taebear: chim you free tomorrow?
Taebear: I have something to talk about?
Taebear: anytime your comfortable. 🙂
Jimin: Yeah Tae, alright meet me at our usual spot. I have no afternoon classes, we could grab some lunch as well.
Taebear: Beach? Or Library ? We have many usual ones 😏
Jimin: OMG stop! Alright the beach is fine. 🤭
Taebear: Lunch is on me then.😌
Jimin: is everything okay?🤨
Taebear: what..?? Yeah.. all good.
Jimin: wait now its not good. Tae you know if theres anything you have to tell me first right?
Taebear: yeah yeah.. its only you and you.
Jimin: I love you.🥺
Taebear: I know...
Jimin: wdym, why aren't you saying it back?

Jimin: Tae??
Jimin: Tae!!!

Jimin was worried, he knew something was fishy, because Taehyung never texted their meet outs he'd call Jimin and they'd be lost in contact for hours, but the last few days Taehyung had been acting wierd, in their last meet up 2 days ago he tried to bring it up but Taehyung was too fast in changing the topic and Taehyung had not even called him for 2 days, he tried to get in touch with Woosik, Taehyungs best friend but he had no idea as well and everything was wierd for some reason, He had a feeling that Taehyung was trying to distance himself. BUT WHY??? WHAT IS WRONG??? HES HAPPY, I'M HAPPY,?? THEN WHY??!! Jimin almost felt like this was all a dream, that he'd one day just wake up and there'd be No Taehyung, no dates, no kisses, No happiness. No nothing. HE WAS SCARED...

Jimin and Taehyung met at the beach, in there usual bench facing the sea, Taehyung had brought Jimins favourite chocolate coated rice crisps as a dessert, this food just melted Jimins worries away he had a bright smile, a genuine one.

"Now tell me Tae, what is it?"
"Jimin, I really don't know how to start" Taehyung looked at there intertwined hands and Jimin knew something wasn't right when Tae called him by his name instead to Chim.
"Is it something we both can't handle?, or don't tell me you want to..."
"What??! No! Never!! Darling I'd never in my whole life had the thought of being away from you" Taehyung was a bit tensed and eyes were getting glossy, When Jimin just stared at him, with a blank face. Jimin grabbed Taehyung and crashed into his arms, holding him tightly making sure Taehyung doesn't break out, supporting him like a wall.
"Tae, let's get married??" Hmmm?"
"Jimin...."
"Don't call me that!!! Call me Chim like you always do!" Jimin ended up breaking first. Taehyung heard soft muffles from his shoulder, he wanted to just stuff Jimin inside his pocket and never let him out, so no one could hurt him, he wanted Jimin just for himself, but he felt too selfish he came here today to do a job an important one at that, but after seeing Jimin like this he felt like running away with him.
"Chim we can't! Marriage is not a joke, my parents will never allow me to, and that's what I wanted to talk about, they've already set my marriage to someone else and she's..."
"she?" Jimin asked parting away from the hug.
"Chim.. I don't know what to do.." Taehyung was the next one, tears streaming down his face driping onto his thighs.
"Okay then, if I ask you to marry me today, right now? will you Tae?"
"Chim.."
"No need parents, no need friends no need anyone, just you and me".
"Please Taehyung, I don't think I can live a day without you" jimin hugged Taehyung again crying so much, even the people around them had to pause their own business and look into these messed up boys.
"Alright, Chim stop crying" Taehyung cupped Jimins face "Meet me tomorrow at the registration office, morning 6?"
"We get married and then my whole life is in your hands?"
Jimin nodded, he didn't mind taking responsibility of Taehyung, heck yeah he'd take anything if its regarding Taehyung, his Dad loved Taehyung too and has his full support, what is there to worry? but looking at Taehyungs side he knew their future wouldn't be the brightest.

I was happy Jungkook, for once after papa I was genuinely happy. He loved me, I loved him,then the next was marriage ofcourse. Yes people would question and judge about my age, his age, his personality, my personality but what more can we do? Can love be stopped just like that ? That's ridiculous. It's not a crime to fall in love Jungkook, I think you might know it way better...
