I slowly wake up and tug my phone out of my back pocket. I only have one notification from Ken which was ten minutes ago.
Ken: Check the news
My eyebrows crease in confusion but either way, I pull up the news and project it with my Neuralink.
By this point Emika is starting to wake up so I make it so she can see and hear it to. At first it's only the regular news, the weather, and traffic, and whatnot.
But then it switches to entertainment...I can only stare at the pictures that appears in front of me. Me holding back Emika's hair, me helping her sit up and giving her the medication, there is even one of me just falling asleep my lips still pressed into a thin like from when I had been humming.
I hear a soft gasp and turn to see Emi with her hand over her mouth. I'm speechless, who would do such a thing?
My question is answered when the News Anchor explains how a boy named Skip Wescott was the one behind the incriminating pictures.
Ten Days Later:
Sssoooo I sued Skip! Turns out he was a child rapist and was already in jail for sexual assault on a young boy named Peter Parker. So when he made the mistake of taking unsolicited pictures of me and Emika...I sued him and delivered him straight to jail where he won't be getting out for a LONG time.
Sorry! I lost inspiration halfway through 😂
And for those of you who got the reference with Skip and Peter....
