Hi! I know I was gone for quite awhile but I am back now! Little PSA here, Hideo is currently 19 and so is his twin brother Suskie! Please note that Hideo's personality in this oneshot (and honestly the rest of these oneshots to) are very different from what you see in the book. I just felt like this fit him a bit better! None the less, if you have suggestions pls feel free to throw out some feedback and comments! Either way, I hope you have an amazing rest of your day and you enjoy the update ;)

HIDEOS POV-

The funny thing about your brother being implanted into the device you created when you were 9 is that he never goes away. EVER. Even when you want him to. Now don't get me wrong. I love Suskie. He's amazing. But times like these are when I wish that he went when he was supposed to.

Not really...

But kinda...

Like I mentioned before, sometimes he is great. I accidentally took a sip of Emika's peppermint latte and had an allergic reaction. When I was on the floor ready to go and join my ancestors in the great above, he was the one who contacted Ken and allowed Ken to stab me with the Epi-Pen.

However, please do take note that someone who can always impose on your every move whenever they please (ESPECIALLY if they are your bother) will get annoying after a certain amount of time.

Want examples? Here I will give you a few.

NUMBER ONE: The Jumpscares. Suskie pops out of thin air and if you are in a public setting it looks like you're high on some serious shit if you're screaming at thin air. Certainly not a good look with the general public.

NUMBER TWO: He's my brother. It's embedded inside the sibling code that you have to annoying the ever loving fuck out of your brother whenever you get the chance. May it be restricting my wifi for a couple hours, or airdropping me weird pictures. He will find a way to annoy me. The first couple times I thought it was funny. Now I am fully ready to commit a murder against someone who is already dead. Trust me, I am willing to bring Suskie back to life just to kill him again.

NUMBER THREE: The privacy. There is none of it. I am a 19 year old kid. Take a guess what I am doing in my free time. Do I ever get to do it though? No. Why? Ask Suskie.

NUMBER FOUR: The Blackmail. If you have someone around you popping up 24/7 every single day of the year, they are bound to witness some of your less than shining moments. Unfortunately for you, it means that person gets blackmail on you every single goddamn day.

NUMBER FIVE: The embarrassment of being in a public setting. I touched on this in number one, BUT I WILL BRING IT UP AGAIN. This one however deserves a full story time.

As many of you may know. I am a famous public figure. It is very fun. I get to meet fans and do things that I love. Yes, Yes, Lots of fun. In other words, you are always in the spotlight.

Someone else who likes to be in the spotlight is Suskie. He appears when obviously no one else can see him, but he always makes stupid comments that make me want to either burst out laughing or punch that smug smirk off of his face. You know, brother things!

The other day though something quite interesting happened. I was hooked up to the microphone and unfortunately was wearing my Neuralink. Meaning that when Suskie appeared this time around everyone could see him.

Now here's the thing. I was in the middle of a public announcement. So with all of my years of media training I just didn't react and so nobody else did either. Therefore, neither of us knew that the general population was seeing one of our convos for the very first time.

"Bitch, did you hook up again last night."

There is a very special advancement that is only implemented in a very select few Neuralinks. One of them being mine. It allows the person to, in a way, separate into two bodies. So I have a hologram of myself still saying the speech (I always make sure to prerecord myself in case this happens, which it usually does) and then my actual consciousnesses is shielded from the general public so I can freely talk to Suskie.
