Caitlin took a walk, and ended up at the house. She walked into the ruins, to see what was left. She cried as she saw the devastation. This was their house. Hers and Barry's. Their little retreat away from the world. Sure, they had broken up, but Caitlin still came here from time to time to escape everything. Also, the house and its memories represented a time where Barry loved and trusted her. Caitlin walked around, seeing how much the fire had destroyed. She felt like she had just had a piece of her ripped away from her. She had redone this house with so much love. Now it was all gone. She stepped outside and took it all in. Why her house? No one knew where this was apart from her and Barry, so who had done this and why? How did they know where it was? Caitlin sunk to her knees and screamed. Everything was ruined. Caitlin got up to walk away, when she felt a hood being put, over her head. She tried to scream and fight back, but she was being dragged into a car
"Who are you? What do you want?" she called out, but got no answer
She didn't know how long they had been travelling, but she was soon bungled out, and thrown into a room
"Please let me go. I have not hurt anyone"
"Relax. You will be returned as soon as it's done"
"What's done? What are you on about?"
"Relax. You have nothing to worry about"
Caitlin sat there, stumped. What had to be done? Her mum, her brother, they were going to be so worried. What would they be thinking? What about Barry? He would just think she had abandoned him again. Poor Barry. He had no idea what was happening
"Barry" she yelled at the top of her lungs
Barry was sitting at home, trying to act excited about his upcoming engagement, when he shivered and stood up
"Barry, what's wrong?"
"I swear I just heard someone shout my name"
"Don't be silly. There's no one else here"
Barry ran out. He was linked to her. She had called for him. Something was wrong. They still had the link, even after everything. It showed that despite everything, they were soul mates and bound together, despite everything. Barry ran to her house
"Where is Caitlin?"
"We don't know Barry. We were just about to call you. Where is my daughter?"
Barry ran out. There was only one other place she would go. Barry ran to the house. He didn't care about the stitch in his side, or how much his body hurt. He just had to find her. He reached the spot and looked around. There was no sign of her. Where was she then? Why did he have this bad feeling? He was about to go, when after looking around he found nothing, when he saw it. He bent down and picked it up. The locket. He smiled as he opened it and saw the picture. They looked so happy, where had it all gone wrong? Well, it was there, but where was it's owner?
Barry was about to go, when he saw tyre marks. He looked closer and saw some other marks. It looked like someone had been dragged somewhere. He got into his car, and followed the marks. He noticed items along the way. Items that he recognised. Stuff that he knew belonged to her. It was like she was leading him to her. Barry stopped his car, and got out. He noticed a charm bracelet on the floor. He picked it up and ran inside. He had brought her that charm bracelet. She was here
"Caitlin, are you here? Where are you my darling?"
Caitlin heard her name being called and tried to call out, but she was bound and gagged
"Where are you?"
Caitlin tried shouting but nothing. She managed to grab something and threw it at the door, hoping to alert Barry
"Where is he? He knows it's his engagement today. He can't be late. Everyone is waiting for him"
"Don't worry. I've just called him, he's coming"
"But where has he been?"
"He just got caught up with something. Don't worry, he's coming. Nora, relax. We're almost there"
"I can't relax. We're so close. I don't want anything to go wrong. I won't be able to relax, until they are engaged"
"I know you are worried, but stay smiling. We don't want to alert anyone that something is wrong by our behaviour"
"I'm here" Barry yelled, opening the door
Everyone took their seats as Barry walked in and walked up to the stage. Iris was smiling happily
"Happy?"
"Most definitely. Barry, my dreams are coming true"
"Hopefully mine will come true"
Barry took the ring, offered to him. Iris stuck her hand out
"One minute iris. I want to show everyone something first"
Barry walked to the side door and grabbed something and pulled it in
"What's she doing here?" asked Barry's parents as Barry led Caitlin in
"One second dad. I want to show everyone something. You'll soon see why she's here"
