Dream took in the sight of the mortal village and let out a long breath, before walking through the gates.

Dream passed by to many faces to count in the bustling morning markets and he was breath taken by all he was seeing.

He saw stalls of weapons to jewelry, bakers to deli's, farming to plants and so much more. He got quite a few inquisitive looks but no one said anything and kept going with their mornings.

Dream found a bench overlooking the ships setting off for the morning and sat, looking spellbound at everything.

He couldn't believe this is what he was missing out on up in the Gods' Palace.

Suddenly, Dream felt a gentle tap on his shoulder.

Turning around, he locked eyes with a maiden with gorgeous y/e/c eyes.

"Hey, are you lost by any chance?"'

Meow

"Mmmmm," you groaned at your cat, burrowing your head deeper into your pillow, trying to block out the meowing of the cat that was seated at your bedroom door.

MEOW!

"Gods above, Althea!" You yelled at your cat, grumbling as you rolled out of bed and sat on the floor infront of your cat.

"What? What was so important that you just HAD to wake me up on this morning?"

You and your cat seemed to have a staring contest.

E/C meeting Yellow.

You kept staring a few moments longer before you got up and started walking towards Althea's food bowl, to find it was empty.

"Hm, you need food? Is that what you needed, Althea?"
Althea just sat there and stared up at you, hoping to receive food immediately.

You sighed as you walked back to your room to get changed out of your sleeping wear.

"Sorry Althea, I need to go to the market's to get you some food. There's none left at the moment."
Althea seeming displeased, and walks away, leaving Y/N to get changed in peace.

You settled on a long skirt of your F/C (favourite colour) with a white off the shoulder shirt, and a black corset to pull it together.

You put on your flat shoes and grabbed the basket off your table before calling out to Althea.

"I'll be back with your food soon, Althea! Please be good!"
And with that, you left through the front door, closing it behind you and walking towards the markets.

~
As you walked through the village towards the market, you spot a boy maybe around your age or a few years above looking everywhere, absolutely starstruck.
He's quite pretty...
You thought to yourself, taking in his dirty blonde hair, his outfit; which contained light brown trousers, a white long sleeve shirt, and a green tunic.
You couldn't get a god look at his face however, and just continued with your morning.
~
After buying a few things to eat and some food for Althea, you began your journey back home.
As you were passing the docks however, you saw the boy from earlier sitting on a bench, and you began walking towards him.
You tapped him on the shoulder, and as he turned around, you took in his face.
He has bottle green eyes, light freckles and he looks stunning.
"Hey, are you lost by any chance?"

She looks gorgeous.

I don't think I've seen a mortal look so ethereal, like a God ever.

Her h/l h/c hair, her e/c orbs staring down at my face, her s/c (skin colour) glistened in the morning sun.

She looks radiant.

"Um, hello?" She giggled Gods she has such a cute laugh "I asked if your lost, you've been floating around town all day and I wanted to know if you have somewhere your looking for?"

I look at her dumbfounded, before I broke from her spell and responded.

"N-no sorry. I'm new here and I'm looking around for a place to stay for the time I'm here. Do you know any places by chance?"
She sat down next to me on the bench and stared off into the ocean, possibly thinking.

"Hm, there may be an inn around here, but I haven't seen one in the entire time I've lived here," She shrugged, still staring out upon the ocean.

"D-Do you think you can help me find a place? I'm quite certain no-one else here will help me," Dream chuckled, silently praying that the maiden would say yes so he could get to know her better, maybe even his first friend amongst mortals.

She turned to look at Dream, and locked eyes with him.

E/C meeting green

Green meeting E/C.

You could cut the tension with a knife.

She suddenly nodded and gave Dream a wide smile.

"Sure! Let's get going then!"
