"Y/N!!!"

Y/N stopped running towards Dream, and just stood there.

Crack

They stood there, and raised a shaking hand to the arrow tip, and letting a trickle of blood run down their finger, to their wrist and staining the dirt a darker than crimson red.

"oh.."

Crack

Dream ran lightning speed over to Y/N, catching her as they swayed and began falling.

"Y-Y/N! No no no please stay with me N/N, p-please I-" Dream began stuttering out, ripping off his shirt sleeves and trying to stop the blood from pouring out of Y/N's chest and back.

"DREAM!"

Dream couldn't even bother looking up at the multiple voices calling out to him, all he focused on was Y/N, and keeping them alive.

"D-Dream...? T-they called you Dream... w-why?" Y/N managed to cough out.

"Y-Y/N darling d-don't worry about that, I-I promise I'll explain e-everything when your recovered, j-just don't close those eyes N/N," Dream said, trying the best he could to compose himself.

"Y-your... Dream... the God.. aren't you.."
"Y-yeah.. I am love, I-I'm sorry I didn't tell you," Dream replied, finally coming to terms with his secret, while gently picking Y/N up from the dirt, and beginning to walk to the village walls.

Y/N smiled weakly up at Dream, touching his cheek gently; "D-Don't worry.. I like the name Dream over Clay anyways..."
Dream managed to choke back a laugh as he got to the village, where Phil had already thought ahead, and brought medical supplies in.

"Dream I need to take them to help them," Phil said, holding his arms out to take Y/N.

Dream hesitated, but gave Y/N to Phil, watching as they winced and whimpered in pain.

Phil than began to try and save the poor person.

Shattered.

Dream's cry could be heard through all 3 rings of the world.

Olympus

Earth

And The Underworld.

Everyone new a God had lost something that day.

But five other Gods' had also lost someone that day.

XD had to summon all Gods' back to Olympus, and gather the six gods together.

That's what lead Kristen, Phil, Techno, Dream, Wilbur, Tommy, and the lifeless body of Y/N to come into Olympus and into a room, waiting for XD.

In the meantime, all they could do was silently grieve.

Kristen and Phil had lost a child.

Techno, Wilbur and Tommy had lost a sibling.

And Dream,

he had lost his soulmate.

When XD walked in the doorway with HD in tow, Dream was the only one who did not acknowledge them, he was too busy whispering to Y/N, and rocking him and their body backwards and forwards, with tears still streaming down his cheeks.

Dream jumped when XD touched his shoulder lightly, tears brimming in his eyes at seeing his older brother.

"Let's talk, shall we?" XD asked in a gentle tone, trying not to startle Dream in anyway.

XD and HD managed to pry Dream away from Y/N's body, leaving it with Phil and his family, to mourn.

XD and HD pulled Dream away into XD's study, in which Dream was immediately entrapped in a hug from XD, making him tear up even more.

"I am so so sorry I sent you down there Dream..."

That broke Dream.

Because no matter how much fault was to blame on XD, it was Dream's actions that caused him to get sent to Earth.

His actions that caused him to meet Y/N.

His actions that caused him to fall in love with Y/N.

And his actions that caused them to die.

Although they were gone, the impact they left on Dream's life was tremendous.

They were his soulmate.

As he was theirs.

No matter what dream did, he would have met Y/N someway, somehow.

Because they were destined to be with each other.

Friends, Enemies, or Lovers.

Because 'till death do us part, although they had no chance at reaching each other again.
