He switched up on me so quickly.

He went from looking into my soul, to all happy go lucky

Y/N giggled slightly at the shock the boy had on his face.

"Well come on then! I don't have all day," Y/N said as he rolled his eyes and standing up next to the male.

He blinked then scrambled up as he realized he needed to move. They then began in search for a inn.

"So... that was a fail then, I suppose?" The man sighed as he sat back on the bench that the two met at, just hours earlier. "Yeah, I suppose it was, I'm sorry we didn't get to find you a place to stay..." he trailed off, looking at the setting sun.

The two sat in silence for a moment of two before the man spoke up again.

"Well, if you want to.. you could stay with me if you'd like..?"

Dream just stared blankly at the boy, trying to take in what he just offered to him

Of course, Dream wanted to stay with him. He has been nothing but kind to him but he was slightly weary.

He had offered to him a home, but he didn't really know who he was and what his intentions were.

After thinking and thoughts racing through his head, Dream hesitantly nodded.

He smiled.

"But, on the condition that I get to know you a bit better. You can understand my hesitation, right?" Dream questioned, hoping the boy would understand.

"Of course I can understand that," He said smiling.

The pair began walking to her house in silence, neither knowing how to start up some conversation.

"So... I think I should know your name...?" Dream asked, looking over at the boy.

"OH! I am so sorry, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Y/N, and yourself?"

"I'm-" Then Dream realised he shouldn't say Dream, as that would raise suspicion in regards to the gods, so Dream looked around the village, hoping something may be a suitable name.

"C-Clay-!"Y/N stopped for a moment, looking over at Dream.

"Clay? Like the brick?"

"Y-Yes...?"

There was a small silence before Y/N giggled a bit. "Alright, cLaY. Were almost at my place."

Dream smiled fondly at the quite little house that Y/N owned. It looked like a quaint little cottage.
