"So why exactly are we at the markets at 6 in the morning, Y/N?" Dream asked sleepily, still rubbing his eyes and yawning while being dragged through the markets.
"Because Clay, I need to pick some things for today, as I want you to meet some of my friends!"
It was 6am, and Dream had been living with Y/N for almost a year already. The time he had left here was running so short.
It felt like literally yesterday that Dream got sent down here, but that was 12 months ago.
Dream and Y/N have been growing closer very quickly and soon became best friends.
Of course, Dream missed Sapnap and George, but he would see them in 2 more years.
And he only had 2 more years to spend with Y/N.
Y/N ran between shops with too much energy, clearly excited about seeing her friends.
"You've never told me you had other friends in the village, any specific reason for that?" Dream questioned, confused at the fact the girl had never said anything prior about these people.
"Oh! That's because they went on a holiday for the year, and they got back a few days ago, so I thought I should go and spend the day with them and catch up! And I wanted you to come with me because you've never met them before and I feel like you might get along with them," Y/N responded with a bright smile on her face.
Dream smiled softly at the girl and admired how excited she was to show him her friends, so he mustered up as much energy as he could, and helped her gather things to bring to the home.

Knock Knock Knock
A few hours later, Dream and Y/N were standing outside a semi large house with the similar cottage vibe like Y/N's house, but more subtle.
Y/N carried a basket of hot chocolate mix, biscuits, tea brews, and other small goodies she found in the markets, and she still carried that same smile she had plastered on her face 4 hours ago.
A loud thudding was heard all the way from the second floor, down some presumed stairs, and all the way to the front door which swung open abruptly, startling Dream, but only making Y/N's grin somehow brighten.
Standing in the door way, was a golden haired boy, with a white blouse, a red tunic and some brown pants. Dream noticed the boy had sparkling sky blue eyes, which somehow sparkled even more upon spotting Y/N.
"Y/N OH MY GODS!!" He yelled loudly, running out the door and picking the girl up and swinging her around, making her basket swing around with her wildly.
The pair laughed loudly, which made Dream smile at seeing Y/N so happy.
The boy finally put Y/N down, grinning like a lunatic, before spotting Dream just stood off to the side, watching the sweet interaction.
"So, who's this you brought with you N/N?" (Nick Name) He asked, breathlessly from swinging the girl around.
"Oh, sorry. My name is Clay," Dream replied, using his mortal name and holding his hand out to the slightly shorter boy.
