~SCENE CONTINUED~

She dunked the ball in the hoop and the crowd booed at her. I ran to get the ball until another girl came out of nowhere and we bumped heads. I raised my arms to show her I ain't want no beef, Megan came over and broke us up

I scratched my nose as they gave her the ball and made me stand in front of her. She jumped at me to make me flinch, boy was she wrong.

I ain't even blink. She threw the ball and I caught it then twirled passed her and dunked the basketball in the hoop

Crowd: "AHHHHH!!!! AALIYAH, AALIYAH, AALIYAH, AALIYAH!!"

We walked over by Megan so she could explain the plan to us for the next game

Megan: "Good job everyone, especially you Aaliyah, you were amazing."
She looked up at the clock to see how much time we had

Megan: "Okay 10 seconds. Josie you try to get the ball if you don't get it, then Marley you grab the ball. Whoever catches the ball pass it to Aaliyah. So Aaliyah once you get the ball you trick the whole team somehow to get pass them and dunk on em"

"I can't pass the ball to anyone else?"
Megan: "Uh yeah sure. Pass it to the other team and let the whole school down"
"You could've just said No"

Megan: "Nah I'm serious you can pass it to Juhlia she's almost as good as you"
"Ight bet"
Megan: "Listen guys, you have to move fast just like time does"

We got in our position on the floor and Megan threw the ball into the air. Josie ran and caught the ball then passed it to me, I stood there to confuse the other team and I made it look like I was going to throw it and they all got tricked.

I ran behind the team and dunked on them. The crowd went WILD

The team lift me up on Josies shoulder and starts doing chanting our team name along with the crowd

Everyone: "BRICK LAYERS! BRICK LAYERS! BRICK LAYERS!"

Megan came over with a huge smile
Megan: "Alright, alright everyone. We gotta leave the floor so the cheerleaders and come out and do their thing"

Josie put me down and we walked over to the benches, we sat down in the front row. I drenched my face with water from my water bottle. I dried my face with my towel until I heard someone yell my name. I looked back at the person in confusion

???: "Hi Aaliyah! Hi, hi"
???: "Boy stop she's working"

I turned around and started playing with my necklace

Josie: "Ugh, what a busta"
I started dancing and jamming to the music

All: "🎶Left, right get to movin🎶 next time move ya body🎶"

Megan called me over and jogged my way to her

Megan: "Now I know I didn't tell you this but this was the first game this school has won in 2 years. Me and the school had a chat, they said that whoever won this game gets to take pictures with a professional photographer and get to be in the magazines!"

"Oh my god- really? Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

I gave her a hug and walked over to the photographer

Marlon: "Hello Aaliyah my name is Marlon"
"Hi Marlon"

We shook hands and greeted each other
Marlon: "Okay, are you ready"
"Yes I am, lets do it"
