Y/n's POV

Mike and Henry came out of nowhere and sprayed us with the watering hose before he got close enough

I jumped up from the soft grass and ran away from the boys as fast as I could

with Jake on my heals we ran into the house soaking wet and locked Mike and Henry out side before they could get to us.

Sarah's POV

I was just sitting throwing a tennis ball at wall when I heard a door slam down stairs.

But what I didn't think I would see was a soaking wet y/n walk into are room that we are currently sharing

"Whoa, what happened to you?"

"I don't know ask Mike and Henry."she said in a sarcastic way making me laugh

"It's fine tho cause Jake and I Locked them outside anyway"

Then there was as knock at the door come in I yell assuming it was Jake but it wasn't it was Mark

"Hey Mark what's up."y/n said drying her hair with a towel as she walks up to him

"Um can you help me with this math homework I don't get it."he said

"Why didn't you go ask." Dad I questioned

"I tried to but he was to busy looking at plays to even get my name right he called me Mike."

"Don't worry about it Mark you can come and ask me for homework help anytime I already had that exact same classes and Mr. Walker does the exact same curriculum ever year."Y/n said walking out the door with Mark.

Life is so different now and it sucks

Y/n's POV

It has been 4o minutes since school ended and
No sign of the Baker van anywhere

"Where is Dad?" Kim asked looking though all of her papers for the 6th time

Jake and I messed around on are skateboards while Mike, Jessica, and Mark all looked down at the ground

5 minutes past and Mr. Baker finally got here but it was clear no one was happy with him

"Hey kids. How was your day at school?"

"I'd say the high point was that you're only 45 minutes late picking us up." Kimmy shot back as she got in the passenger seat.

"Hey you know what? There was a pep rally at school today. There were 20,000 people in the stands and I just couldn't leave." Mr.Baker defended himself

but at this point I was even over this and I am not really his kid.

"Here" Mark said handing his Dad as drawing he made to day from behind the passenger side as Jessica and Mike glared from the seats beside him and Jake and I from the way back.

"Hey you did a drawing" Mr. Baker took the paper and read what it said out loud

"My favorite place in the world- Is it the Midland house?" he asked as he turned back to Mark
