"alright, bye." Brad said to Anna, as he got in his car and drove home to Idaho.
Anna closed the door, sighing as all her friends are away with family for the holidays and she is stuck at home.
She sat on the couch, hugging a pillow, looking at the Christmas tree she was so excited to put up, only for it to be empty underneath, and stand alone.
She started to think about old friends, new potential friends and what they might be doing when there was a soft four knocks at her door.
She recognized them, it was something her old friend Eva used to do, "your fucking kidding me." She muttered, walking up to the door and swinging it open.
There stood Eva, with about at least 9 gifts in her hand, "h-hey, I know we haven't talked for a while, but I got you some gifts, I hope you like them." Eva said softly, handing the girl the gifts, Anna took them from her, a smile on her face, she put them down, confusing Eva until she wrapped her in a big hug,
Eva hugged back, tears filling her eyes, "thank you so much, every one forgot about me... except for you." She cried, hugging the girl tighter, Eva nodded, kissing her forehead, "I'm sorry, baby. I know".
Eva was about to leave when Anna stopped her, "would y-you like to stay? you still have cloths here, maybe we could spend Christmas together?" Anna asked nervously, Eva smiled, nodding and walking back into the girls house.
Merry Christmas.
