"Im sorry for the inconvenience, my daughter doesn't speak." Henry, Anna's dad scolded to Eva's Mom, "no, it's fine, we know. Eva understands." She said, letting Anna in.
Anna was invited to a sleepover by Eva and she was surprised because nothing like that had never happened to her. She doesn't speak, she's doesn't like to, it started when she was 9 because Henry constantly yelled about her voice and how much he hated it and how it was a big distraction, so she stopped speaking.
Eva's mom lead her too Eva's room, Anna slowly opened the door to be pulled into a hug, "Anna! you came, I thought you wouldn't!" Eva exclaimed, Anna smiled, Eva kissed her cheek, making her turn red.
Anna looked around and seen, Katie, Sab, Emma, and Devyn. Anna knew them, but not that well, but they seemed nice.
She sat next to Eva, listening to the girls talk. "Why don't you talk?" Katie asked in the most polite way she could "bitch, you come off really blunt." Devyn joked, Katie hit her shoulder, "it's an actual question".
Anna just shrugged, coming up with an answer, "you don't have to answer, It's okay." Eva said softly, Anna nodded, shooting Katie a nice, apologetic smile which she gave back.
"okay, I think we should play a board game now." Emma said, Eva groaned, "there up hella high." She whined, Anna looked up at Eva in a willing way, she loved being helpful, "Anna could get them, she taller than all of us here." Sab said, Eva nodded, grabbing Anna's hand and leading her out of the room to the hallway and to a closet that held all of the games.
Anna reached up, grabbing it, "thanks." Eva said "No problem".
Anna slapped her hand over her mouth while Eva looked at her in awe, "oh goddammit." She groaned, covering her face with her hands, Eva hugged her, "no, your okay. I don't know what the reason is, but your voice is perfectly fine and needs to be heard, I love your voice." She reassured, Anna hugged her tightly, putting her head in Eva's neck.
They walked back to the room, sitting in the middle of the floor along with the girls, "How old is Anna?" Devyn asked "18, I'm 18" Anna said, the girls gasped while Eva smiled.
"sab, you owe me 20 dollars, I told you her voice was hot." Devyn said, Sab rolled her eyes jokingly, Eva smiled at Anna, kissing her hand softly.
