She showed it off to Hawks. "Toga. Be careful." I warned. "I will!" Toga used my voice to say that. "Don't do that." Hawks scolded. She put my face on. "That's creepy." Hawks said. "Look at me. The emo brood-master. I have no interest in your silly games. I just stalk my younger brother from afar and plot the murder of my dad as my only two hobbies." "Hey! I don't do that..... anymore." Hawks looked at me, trying not to laugh. "Emo-brood-master!" He lost it. Toga looked next to my bed. "Eww, Dabi! Why is there a puke bucket? Are you gonna get me sick?!" "No. No. I'm not sick..... physically. It doesn't matter." Hawks made an attempt to hide the pile of smokes and painkillers next to it. Her eyes followed the movement. "Dabi!" She picked up a smoke. "I thought I told you to stop doing these! They always make you so sick and upset." Hawks glared at me. "What?!" I yelled. "You've been doing these in front of Toga?" "She was my only support system before you. And she just helped me recover afterwards. I never got high around her." "She's 17." "I'm actually 19, now!" "Still. She's basically still a kid." "A murderous kid who sucks the blood out of people she's horny for." "Rude." Toga retorted. "Whatever. Let's just do this whole training thing so that she doesn't have to stab me, again." Toga re-lit her hands. "This is..... disappointing." "What?" Hawks asked her. "This quirk isn't massive like I thought it was. He had to train to make it as impressive as it is. Also, I like your new haircut." "Thank you. And yeah, that's what happens when you get forced to do 10 times more than your limit every single day for years." Hawks looked at me with empathy. He turned back to talk to Toga, again. I started to get dizzy. "Hawks?" Hawks looked back at me. "My head hurts. I feel like I'm gonna throw up." I leaned against him. "My skin is burning." "You're actually really cold." Hawks turned to Toga. "Toga, you need to leave. I've got this." "Are you sure? I could stay here to help if you want." "No offense Toga, but I think stripping and laying down with his boyfriend is going to be a lot more comfortable than leaning against a wall between two people trying different methods to help him at the same time." "Got it. You have my number. I'll be on the line in case you need anything." Hawks nodded. I closed my eyes to try and lift some of the pain.
