"I can't quit cold turkey, it'll kill me." I pointed out. "Technically it won't, but the symptoms might. We're going to have to start small." Hawks responded. I couldn't believe this. I'd be happy with a way out of this hell, but he just came in here and flipped my whole life upside down. "Fine. But if I don't get at least a portion of my shit, I'm going to be in literal hell soon, whether or not I die from the damn symptoms." Hawks put his head down. "Fine, I guess we're starting now. We'll start with a small jump. It sounds like your main addiction is something you smoke, so stop before it reaches the end and I'll be satisfied." I stood up quickly and grabbed my side. "Shit, I forgot about that." I doubled over. "Here, I'll help you. He lifted me up and took me into the bathroom. He looked like he was going to be sick just looking at it. "Point to where it is." I pointed to the medicine cabinet. "How ironic." He said as he sent a feather to open it. He looked before having it grab the only smokeable thing in there. "This it?" I nodded. We took me back onto the bed. "We are cleaning this mess up as soon as possible." He scolded. He shut the door for his own sanity. He put me on his chest as we laid down. "I really don't want to get high in front of you." I tried to warn. "I'm even worse than when I'm sober." Hawks rubbed my head. "Just shut up and do it." I'd never been high with company before. Especially with this substance. I don't even know why I like it, it puts me through hell every damn time. I lifted it up and lit it with the end of my finger. "Goodbye, Hawks." I said as I took a puff.
