"So what was your song, Done With Love about?" Miranda asks, and I just look at her for a while.
"It was just about me letting go of past stuff, like my family. I haven't talked to a lot of them for over 2 years." I say and smile.
"So you haven't talked to Jeb for that long?" I hear Nash ask. I'm startled, and I guess my face shows it cause I get a concerned look from Cam.
"No, I haven't seen him since Annabelle's wedding." I say slowly and shake off the feeling I get from hearing his name again.
"Good, cause he was a bastard." Nash says, and I give him a sad smile and shrug.
"I guess I don't know this Jeb." Cam says and I laugh.
"He's my ex. He was an asshole." I stand up and put my hand out for Cam.
"Where we going sha?" He asks.
"To swim in the dark obviously!" I say and sart laughing.
"Yes! Swimming in the dark is fun, and scary." he says and tries to make a scary face.
"Wow, you look like a little kid that didn't get any candy on Easter." I say, laughing.
"And you look like the little kid that stole my candy!" he accuses, pointing a finger at me.
"Hey, I don't take candy from the under developed." I laugh as he shoves me softly.
"You're so mean to me!" he whines. And I jump on him.
"And you're not a very good pack animal." I say and point my finger to the water. "Now go." I say, only to bust up.
"Hold on!" He yells and runs into the water.

"No I'm not going back over there, I don't really like Miranda!" I say to Cam, only to have him throw me over his shoulder.
"Oh, you are so going over there now." he says, laughing.
"I'm begging you, please don't make me!"
"Umm... Let me think..... Um no." he says, laughing harder.
"You're such a jerk sometimes." I slap at him.
"But yet you're still hanging with me." he says and I laugh, taking in my position, that just happens to be hanging upside down.
"Okay, that was a good one." I admit and then he puts me down.

"So are you and Hayes a thing now?" I ask.
Viv shrugs noncommittally. "I don't really know.
"Wow, that's kinda interesting."
A smile ghosts on her lips. "Yeah... He's great though."
"I so knew that you guys would end up liking each other."
She rolls her eyes. "Oh yes, because Queen Lynny knows everything."
"Yeah, now you're pretty much in love with him."
"I am not! It's like the third day we've been back to talking!"
"Yeah whatever." I say and roll my eyes.

I pick up my notebook and open it to the song i'm writing, just a few more lines and it will be done. I can't help but to smile as I see that I did make it, I made myself matter.
