FAITHLYN'S POV

Harry picked me up from my house, like he said he would, and seemed a little bit irritated that we were going to Valentina's. He tried to talk me into just staying home and watching movies tonight at last minute, but I had already told Valentina that we would be there soon. His agitated attitude  had disappeared after I took one of his hand while he drove and placed small kisses to his firm and hard knuckles.

We pulled up to Valentina's but both of us were slightly confused. We knew we were at the right house because we have been here before. There was no light shining from any windows of the house. If Valentina was home, why are all the lights off?

"Maybe she isn't home. I texted her but she never texted back." I say as I double check my messages to see if there were any new messages. Nope.

"Text her and ask if she's home." He commands as he turns the engine off.

I do as I am told and she seems to reply quickly saying that she is at the store and she will be back in ten minutes.

"She said that the door is unlocked so we can wait for her until she gets back." I shrug my shoulders.

"Okay. Let's go in." Harry nods.

Harry's hand finds mine and laces his fingers with mine like shoe laces. He gives my hand a small squeeze and I walk through the door. Small whispers were heard and little hushes. What the fuck?

I flick the lights on and notice that Valentina is here... Along with about a hundred more. "Surprise!" Was chanted and shouted to Harry and I. I nearly have a heart attack from my heart racing at a very noxious rate. I look at Harry and he looks like he is panting after running a marathon. After the both of us calm down, we notice the massive banner that is hanging from the ceiling that reads Happy Birthday Harry and Faithlyn. Confetti was put to flight as multiple cannons went off. Balloons rain down from the top floor and I can't stop smiling.

"Happy birthday you guys!" Valentina pulls the three of us into a group hug.

"You bitch, I said I didn't want any presents or parties." I slap her arm but I am still honorably thankful for taking the time to put this together.

"Hey, this wasn't just for you. This is for Harry, too." She says as she ruffles his hair. "And it would be rude if I only but happy birthday Harry on the banner."

"You didn't have to do this for us." Harry gives the usual reaction when someone receives a gift, but at least he was being nice.

"Yes I did. Don't give me that shit. You guys are my friends! You guys deserve to party on your birthdays." I could already smell the vodka that she has consumed and seems to already be running through her veins.

Harry and I decide to stay by each other's side as we move through the crowd of people that we barely know. I say some familiar faces and some girls that were in my chemistry class waved at me. I couldn't remember what it felt like to have a birthday party. I haven't had one since freshmen year and neither has Harry.

We make our way to the kitchen to see loads and loads and loads of alcohol on the counter tops and table. A group of guys began to move a table into the living room, obviously to start some games of beer pong.

"Do you want me to make you a drink?" Harry asks me as he pulls me towards the bottles of liquor that broadcasts across the kitchen.

"Yes, please." I say as I bite down on my lip. I gape at Harry as he pours god knows what into two cups for the both of us. He wears a plain grey crew neck sweatshirt, black skinny jeans, and his black boots. It was such a typical everyday outfit, but Harry looked so captivating in such the simple clothing style. His chestnut curls were brushed along his forehead and a little bit in his face. His eyelashes were long and fluttered across his cheekbones every time he blinked.
