HARRY'S POV

The rest of that night, Faith and I lied down in my driveway looking at the dimly lit stars and the dark, yet clear sky. We talked about nonsense and all. The pizza guy was a bit confused as to why we were laying in the driveway but he didn't ask any questions. we continued to talk and eat pizza in the cold concrete until Faith started to fall asleep a little so I decided to take her home, even though I wanted to be a selfish prick and put her in my bed.

Days pass by as all my normal days do. Picking up Faithlyn, going to school, racking in money, hanging out with Faithlyn, then taking her home, go home and smoke out of my favorite bong, and then going to bed. I don't know what could be better than this. I am really living the life right now. Everything in this world is just sunshine and shit, which is about as happy as I can get.

It's Thursday. And it was a good day until I realized that I stayed up until two am just cause I couldn't sleep. It's been hard trying to go to sleep without Faith. I drank two cups of coffee instead of snorting coke because I just didn't feel like going to school high today, even though I know coke will keep me up way better than any coffee brand.

I only fell asleep in Algebra 2 and History. Those two are the most boring classes ever. I can't stay awake for shit in either of those classes. I don't know how I am passing those classes, I don't ever pay attention. I just guess on the work sheets and the teachers don't actually read the answers to see if they are right. Thank God cause I would not be doing so hot.

"What do you want to do today?" I ask Faithlyn as we walk in the school parking lot after school. The sky was a dark grey once again, just like yesterday. The asphalt was reflective and sparkling from recent rain.

"Actually," She pauses and I furrow my eyebrows as I look at her, "I got a call back for a job today."

"What?" When did she apply for jobs?

"They want me to come in today for orientation."

"You don't need a job. I can buy you everything you need." I'm a bit annoyed. This means I won't be able to spend as much time with her as I usually do. With school and now a job, I will hardly see her. The thought makes the day even more gloomy.

"You can't just buy everything for me. It makes me uncomfortable and what if one day you can't sell things to make money like you do now? Then you will be broke and you will also need to get a normal job like any other teenager in high school."

"Stop speaking non-sense. Say that you can't today." we reach my car and I lean against the driver's door, holding her hips between my fingers. She presses her hands against my chest and stares up at me with confused annoyed eyes.

"No. I have been looking for a job so I can make my own money and someone will finally hire me even though I don't have any work experience." She pouts her lips like a child that didn't get what she wanted.

I sigh. "Fine. I'll drop you off then. Where at?"

She tells me the name of the restaurant and the address and I begin to head to that side of town. It's about a ten minute drive away from school and maybe a fifteen minute drive from Faithlyn's house. The radio plays low. And I can't help but continue my questioning about her wanting to have her own money. I don't know why it bothers me so much.

"I don't understand. Why do you feel so determined to make your own money when I have enough for the both of us?"

She scoffs. "I already told you. I don't want you to spend your money on me. I will feel more accomplished and I won't feel lile shit for taking your money." She crosses her arms over her chest, accidentally pushing her tits together and making it hard for me to keep my eyes on the road. Fuck.
