*(Y/N) POV*

Since everything that happened at Japan, we were all back at Alnus Hill, but with a big surprise. The surprise being a flourishing town around the military base. I was surprised at first, but soon went along and helped around with construction and security within the base and the village. Ideas and goods have been regularly shared, most of the natives of the region began staying around the base, while others have gathered from far and wide. It was all meant to be a refugee camp, but turned into a flourishing town. I smiled at the progress of the flourishing town as I was walking around with Riley and kept tabs on everything. I was greeted by many of the inhabitants of the town and kept the peace along with the Military Police that was around, and some of the inhabitants joined the Military Police, which made things go smoother, but I digress.

I was thinking about Pina, who went back to the Empire and witnessed Japan's strength for herself, in resolution to hold peace talks. Apparently, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent Koji Sugawara to join Pina in the dialogue. Soon, both sides will begin classified peace negotiations. I walked past a bar that was a bustling sight and ran into Lelei.

(Y/N): Hey, Lelei.

Lelei: Oh, hello (Y/N). 'looks at Riley' Hello, Riley.

Lelei leans down and pets Riley's head.

(Y/N): So, what are you doing?

Lelei: I'm about to head into the forest to practice my magic. You?

(Y/N): Ah, I don't know. I was just walking around town with Riley, and everything seems to be growing bigger by the minute.

Lelei: That reminds me. 'digs letter' This is for you from the Princess.

Lelei hands me the letter from Pina and I opened it. I guess Pina wanted me to be around and help with negotiations. More than likely as the "watcher" or "middle man" during the negotiations. I tucked the letter away.

(Y/N): I see that the Princess needs me. Lelei, can I leave Riley in your care for a while?

Lelei: Sure, I have no problem.

(Y/N): Thanks, Lelei, you are awesome. 'looks at Riley' Riley, you behave for Lelei and protect her, all right? 'hands Lelei ocarina' Here, Lelei, use this if you need to. This will turn Riley into one of his forms.

Riley barks in agreement as Lelei nods and I walk off. I get close to the gates until I heard one of my girlfriends, Kuribayashi, call me out.

Kuribayashi: Hey, babe!

I turned around and hugged my girlfriend as she got close. We spun around for a bit and stopped spinning and kissed each other.

Kuribayashi: Where are you headed?

(Y/N): I got a letter from Pina, and she wants me to be the "middle man" for the peace negotiations at the Capitol.

Kuribayashi: Oh, that makes sense. You have the Omnitrix, which means your kind of a third power in play here. Well, have fun, and tell the Princess I said "Hi!"

Kuribayashi walked off back to her station or wherever she was placed at. I got to the gates and walked out while I waved to the two soldiers that were standing guard. I activated the Omnitrix and turned into XLR-8.
