Seeing it come to life

I am an author. 

I sit and I write, and I wait. I wait for these characters to spring to life in these stories. But, in the end, they aren't real. They never will be. All they are are words on a page, and I'll never actually speak to them.

That's okay.

Writing is like falling into another world. Shaping your enviroment. It's like creating everything. 

I write as a coping mechanism. 

I write for my amusement.

I write to be in another world, for even a moment. 

I write for myself.
