Chapter 19: Sensitive Teasing

I present you a two chapter release cause I had fun writing, so I didn't stop lol.

An apricot-colored hair girl hummed while sweeping the hallways of her young master's residence. Despite trying her best to make herself look plain, she was still very cute and bubbly.

Although Anelise was worried about Inari, she believed that the him currently will be able to stand up to the nobles there. She only hoped that he wouldn't make too much trouble.

However, her attention was then drawn to a door closing behind her.

Turning her head, she could see the door to Inari's room open, with him standing outside of it.

The yellow light from the room escaped onto the hallways, that illuminated with a blue hue from the moon, through the windows. The olive-haired boy stood outside, in his black and gold outfit. The light illuminated his handsome face as he seemed to be speaking to someone in the room. His outer black jacket was gone, and Anelise was surprised he was here, since the banquet shouldn't have ended so soon.

"Your highness?"

Hearing her, he turned his head, before closing the door.

"Ah! Elise! You're still working at this hour?"

"? It isn't that late though? What happened with the banquet?"

"Ah... that thing?"

He looked as though he had more important things to think about, as an uninterested look appeared on his face. Anelise tilted her head in confusion. Was there something more important than his birthday banquet today?

"Don't worry about it. It's over and done with, and nobody was able to bully me this year."

He put on a smile that seemed to hide a mischievous tone to his voice. Although Anelise felt like she should be relieved, she felt a little uncertain at his demeanor.

'Nothing big should've happened, right?'

"Oh right! Since you're already here, could you help get a bath ready? A guest of mine got a bit dirty and needs it."

"Eh? For a guest? Who—"

Getting curious, she tried to peek into the room from the slightly open door. However, Inari stood in front of her with his usual smile.

"I can't really tell you, since they're a bit shy."

Although she was confused at first, she started to connect some dots. A guest she couldn't see. A guest that needs a bath. As well as Inari, who's outer jacket was off. After getting red in the face, she quickly understood(?) what was going on! Her young master was a growing healthy boy after all!

Nodding her head she quickly ran off to fetch the water. She was actually a bit surprised that a girl was able to get Inari's attention, since he seemed like he wasn't that interested in those things! The girl that caught his attention must've been a real beauty then, especially when he was so handsome! No wonder he was back so early!

Anelise couldn't help wanting to meet her, after thinking about that.

Inari watched as his trusted maid ran down the hall, out of sight.

He had a feeling that she caught onto something, but also knew that she was probably also way off the mark as well.

Opening the door to his room, he couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of him.

The black-haired man sat in a chair, with a dissatisfied look on his face. His eyebrows furrowed as his messy black hair fluttered with a movement. His clothes were messy, his inner shirt damp with a wet fluid. On his shoulders was Inari's outer jacket, which seemed to have been put on him.

Seeing Inari leaning against the wall, looking at him, Leon wanted to punch his smug face so badly. He couldn't believe he was sitting here in this pathetic state. If he could, he would've returned to his estate as soon as possible, but it would've been hard to explain his appearance to the people there.

However, the only thing he could do currently was remain with an irritated face.

Inari only saw his demeanor as cute, however. He laughed under his breath, as he hid his smile with his hand.

"Don't be so grumpy, Leo~ I got someone to run you a bath, so you can clean up. I don't want to stay here for longer than I have to either."

Leon only clicked his tongue, as he didn't want to thank him, since he was the one that got him in this situation in the first place! It was probably the best thing to do, since Inari put on another teasing smile on his face.

"So? Why don't you undress right now? She should have it ready soon."

Looking at him with a look of disbelief, he clenched his fist.

"Are you crazy?"

Inari only looked back with a completely innocent look.

"Hm? What's wrong? You're not going to get in fully clothed, right?"

Glaring at him with a look that could kill, or at least cause any normal person to faint, he stood up and clicked his tongue.

With the outer jacket falling off his shoulders, he began to unbutton his shirt. However, as he moved to remove it, the fabric brushed past his nipples, which caused a sensation to run down his back. His ears flushing, he tried to bite back any sounds he made.

"Ngh...mn..."

However, despite his best efforts, Inari could hear him easily. With an amused face, he couldn't help but tease him in this situation. Would he even be himself if he didn't?

"Hm??~ what's wrong? Is something bothering you?"

Leon suddenly stopped as he glared at him, looking him straight in the eye.

"There's nothing wrong. Shut up."

"Haha, are you sure? Cause, it looked as though something was bothering you? Could it be that... you're still pretty sensitive from earlier?"

With a prodding and increasingly teasing tone, he naturally walked closer to him. Leon looked away as he could feel his ears turn red.

"Nonsense. You don't know what you're talking about."

Trying to remain as taciturn as possible, to not give the reaction Inari wanted, he didn't respond more than he had to. However, he didn't know that this only confirmed Inari's suspicions.

"Well, it would make sense, considering how much I messed with them. They should be pretty swollen by now~"

Growing ever closer, Leon took a step back, before tripping and falling back onto the chair. Inari leaned over into a whisper. The black-haired man couldn't help gulping, as he knew what this series of events would usually lead to.

"Since it's my fault, shouldn't I check on th—?"

Knock knock!

"Your highness! I have the water ready! May I come in?"

Stopped by the sounds of knocks on the door, Inari had a dissatisfied look on his face. Letting off, Leon breathed a sigh of relief.
