"Sam? Are you here?" Kristie entered Sam's apartment dropping her keys on the table near the door. "Sam?"
Kristie had rushed straight back to the apartment after Sam took off. She knew she was upset with her sister. And if she was honest so was she.
"Yeah!" Sam's voice echoed through the apartment. "Kris can you please come here?"
Hearing the panic in her girlfriends voice Kristie rushed into the bedroom, the light to the bathroom was on.
"Sam?" Kristie pushed the door open to see her girlfriend wrapped in a towel sitting on the edge of the bath. Her foot wrapped in a plastic bag.
"Can you help me? I got myself here but couldn't get into the bath with my foot." Sam sniffed, tears welling in her eyes obviously frustrated that she couldn't do much by herself.
"Hey it's okay, here." Kristie grabbed Sam's arm and waist helping to lift her up and into the bath.
Sam settled relaxing in the warm water with her foot elevated on the side of the bath out of the water.
"You okay Sammi?" Kristie smiled kneeling down next to the bath sensing that she was still upset.
"Yeah. Just... I don't know." Sam sighed. "Want to join me?"
"Thought you'd never ask!" Kristie quickly removed her clothes, sliding in behind Sam so her girlfriend was resting in between her legs. Sam's head leaning back to rest on Kristie's chest.
They sat enjoying the comfortable silence for a few minutes until Sam spoke up.
"I don't want to screw this up Kris."
"Hey, who said you're screwing anything up?" Kristie squeezed Sam tighter rubbing her hand softly along her girlfriend's toned stomach.
"Your sister apparently."
"My sister doesn't know you. I do. And that's all that matters."
"You know I won't hurt you right?" Sam almost whispered the question.
"I know."
Sam turned slightly in Kristie's arms so she could see her.
"I-I hope this isn't too early for you, because it's not for me." Sam smiled looking directly into Kristie's eyes. "I'm in love with you Kris. Like really in love."
Kristie leaned down placing a slow kiss on Sam's lips.
"I'm in love with you too. Have been for a while." Kristie giggled happily.
"Thank god." Sam sighed with relief turning her body back around.
"What? Did you think I wasn't?"
"We'll I hoped you were but you can never be sure." Sam giggled.
Kristie placed small kisses on Sam's neck as the two girls sat in the warm water together enjoying the feeling of their bare skin touching each other.
