You stayed the whole night in his arms.
When you awoke you were surprised that he had remained the whole night.
Rays of light came through the hollow windows as you noticed he was still asleep.
Your expression softened from the sweetness he had shown you.
His red hair hung slightly in his face and you dared to lightly brush it out of the way.
His hand snapped over your wrist making you squeak. When his golden orbs flashed open his tense expression softened on you.
He kept his hold of your wrist while he slowly leaned in closer. Your heart was racing as you completely froze remembering this was Thor's lap you were in.
You felt his other hand trace gently along your back giving you butterflies.
His gaze held on you as he slowly closed the gap pressing his lips to yours.
It felt as though time stopped.
You longed for this moment so long that you could hardly believe it were real.
You wondered why he changed his mind about you.
As you two slowly separated he could sense your heart beating.
"Morning" you whispered with wide eyes.
"Morning" he said back with a smirk.
"Thor?" you almost hesitated.
He looked at you awaiting your question.
"Thank you" you looked down shyly.
He found your behavior cute.

He spent most of the day with you as he seemed to enjoy your company. He kept you in his chambers and showed you one of his special rooms. It was a full stained glass room creating a strange iridescence when you stepped into it.
He smiled watching you look at it in wonder for it was beautiful and easy to get lost in.
He was just glad to keep your mind off things for the time being.

He became a little more serious as time drew on. He informed you he had something important to deal with. Your brows furrowed wondering if it were something dangerous but you nodded trusting he had it handled.
It wasn't your place to intrude on his errands either.
"Tomorrow morning meet me in the main halls" he stated seriously as he turned leaving you.
You grew quiet as you watched him leave. The energy in the room vanished with him and you felt as though the sun itself had gone out.
You looked down a little dispirited.
You just hoped he hadn't done this out of sympathy. Your heart couldn't handle another rejection after what you'd been through.
