"Mom dad, remember..." "No. Mom dad, I want to tell you..." "No. Mom dad, for the past two years I've... Heck no." I said standing in front of the mirror pretending I was standing in front of my parents.
I haven't stopped thinking about how or when to tell my parents about David. How will things play out after they know? This isn't Pretty Little Liars, will they be willing to sit around a dinner with the guy who was supposed to teach me English? The guy who took their dear daughters virginity? Well maybe they don't have to find out about that part.
"Hello?" I said snapping out of my thoughts and answering my phone.
"Hey Han, you want to come with me to run some errands?" Aunt Lanea asked
"Yeah, you want me to drive to your house or are you picking me up?" I asked
"Come over." She said.
"Ok. See you in 30," I said before hanging up.
---------------------
"Hey Hannah, Bye Hannah," Jess said walking past me to her car.
"Hey Auntie Nae." I said giving Aunt Lanea a hug
"Hey baby girl. How are you?" She asked looking for her keys in her purse
"I'm fine. Where are we going?" I asked
"Just to run some errands. Are you going to fly home tonight for your birthday?" She asked
"I don't know. My parents haven't brought it up." I said
"Oh ok." She said smirking. "Let's go."
"What are you up to?" I asked scanning her face.
"Not a darn thing. Put this on." She said avoiding eye contact with me while handing me a blindfold.
"How's David?" she asked as we pulled out of the neighborhood.
"He's fine. Oddly, we've been looking at apartments." I said pulling the blindfold over my eyes.
"Apartments? What about Raven? So you've told your parents?" Shes asked
"That's just it, no one knows that looking for apartments has been taking place for weeks now and I'd like to keep it that way. My parents will find out soon enough." I responded.
"You know I know y'all are up to something?" I said turning my head in her direction even though I could no longer see her.
"Come on." She said parking and walking around to my side and helping me out of the car.
"Happy Birthday baby." My mom said walking to me as we walked to the dinner table.
"Thank you mommy." I said tearing up.
"Ok. Listen, everyone. It's birthday speech time." Auntie Nae said about an hour into dinner.
"Hannah and I have gotten really close since she's moved here and because of that I'm going to speak next to last." She said winking at me.
Everyone said their speeches and made me cry like a baby. Then Auntie Nae got back up.
"Everyone, Hannah is in love and I'm in love with the fact that she's in love." She said before turning to the entrance.
"When I first laid eyes on you, I knew you had to be mine. You're a diamond. You are a dream come true. Hannah baby, you are everything I was searching for. You have taught me so much since the very first date. You have taught me that nothing comes easy and there are some things worth fighting for. I never knew I could love someone other than my family as much as I love you. Beautiful is an understatement. You shine bright no matter the crowd you're standing in. You've changed me for the better. I can't imagine a life without you in it. Thank you for loving me. Happy Birthday baby." David said
"Baby? Dating? Mr. Hall? How long has this been going on?" My mom asked
"Since the first day of school," I answered calmly yet avoiding eye contact.
"Now son, you know we're going to have a one on one conversation?" My dad said shaking David's hand.
"Yes sir" David responded calmly.
"You were worried about your dad but I think that's who you should be worried about. " Raven whispered and pointed to my mom who was scowling at David.
"I don't think I was prepared for her to be upset," I said turning to face Raven.

OLIVIA POV"How long have you known?" I asked Lanea as we sat at her dining room table.
"Oh. She speaks?" She responded sarcastically in regards to my silence since dinner.
"Tootie, how long have you known? Why didn't she tell me?" I asked
"Honey, she barely wanted to tell me. The only one that knew out of your sisters was Yolanda because she invited him to church one day." Lanea responded
"But why didn't she tell us?" I asked
"The same reason Adam lived with you for months before anyone found out. She's young and quite frankly, she's smart because she knows that not all business should be broadcasted until its perfected business. You can't be mad at her." She responded, handing me my tea
Hannah's POV
"Your dad likes me. It's your mom that isn't too fond of me." David said rubbing my leg as I looked at my bags for my trip.
"It's so weird. Usually, my dad is the one that doesn't agree" I said
"You know my parents were like that. My mom was overprotective and my dad wasn't. It wasn't until it was time for me to graduate and move and they became total opposites. just give her time. She'll come around." He said
"Your bags aren't going to pack themselves," I said walking away.
"We'll be sitting around a campfire singing songs in no time." He yelled after me.
"This is not Pretty Little Liars David," I yelled back from the kitchen.
