Long time no see

Chanyeol was driving to work when Baekhyun's blue hair got his attention, the roots were natural and long, making Chanyeol guess that he hasn't gone to the hairdresser since they broke up at least to dye his hair, he only cut the ends. Even this way he looks gorgeous.

He was smiling while cleaning the Exo window and having a conversation with his coworker.

It's been so long since he last saw Baekhyun, exactly one month and eight days. He looks healthy and lis cheeks look fuller.

Meanwhile he lost weight and is feeling awful, he can't even smile. His parents are worried about him.

It's been so long since he last saw Baekhyun, he wants to stop the car and run to hug Baekhyun but he knows he can't.

He arrived at the office underground car park and started talking to himself.

"Cmon Chanyeol, let's do this." He said to himself before leaving the car to enter the building.

"Good morning." He heard as he walked to his office, before he would've answered with a smile but not after his break up.

He opened the door for his office finding Yoora sitting on his chair.

"Noona?! What are you doing here?" Chanyeol asked confused as his sister was on parent leave as her do date is around the corner.

"Oh, baby bro!?" She acted surprised "just testing this chair. After giving birth I'll probably fight for this chair." She explained.

"What? Why?" Chanyeol asked confused.

"Because you are losing the capacity to sit here. You see, you used to be strong, your aura was one of the most powerful things I've could feel." Yoora turned the chair towards the window "you were suffocatingly strong and fearless when it came to business but you were kind to people working with you and it made working here fantastic but now you look pitiful, it won't be long until they no longer respect you."

"That's not true." Chanyeol had no words honestly.

"See? Chanyeol would argue with me to prove his point." Yoora said "I know what you are going through but Baekhyun gave you space to learn and grow to be the person you always wanted to be so be it and prove Baekhyun right. He as well is going through an hard time to let you grow and learn. So fucking grow and learn, bounce back Chanyeol. Be who you want to be because if you love Baekhyun you must know that he deserves the best and if you are not the best version of yourself why would he be with you?" Yoora explained "I'm pretty sure that Baekhyun also has his learning and growing to do before you guys get back together." Yoora faced Chanyeol again "Put your shit together and if in my next surprise visit you still look like a wet dog I'm going to request to take your place to the chairman." Yoora got up. "Love you. Yoora slowly left the office.

It's time to get my shit together.

Another month has passed and some people noticed that Chanyeol was slowly trying to get back on his fit making everyone proud of him and how hard he is trying. He has been reflecting a lot and he understood why Baekhyun left him.

He just wasn't someone Baekhyun could lean on and blindly trust. Their relationship lacked many things and Chanyeol nor Baekhyun had the capacity to understand at the time.

He is not blaming what happened on them equally, he after much reflection he understood that he made the move to destroy their castle of cards.

After work he got home and forced himself to eat something before washing up and going to sleep. He still hates the silence that Baekhyun left, he still feels like his apartment his way too big without Toben and Baekhyun and Baekhyun's smell us still impregnated into every corner of his apartment.
