First love - Chanbaek

It's been a hard month for Chanyeol and Baekhyun as they have been adapting to their new lifestyle as parents.

Haneul wakes up a lot during the night. They knew that it would happen but they didn't expect it to be so hard.

During this month Baekhyun cried a lot just like now.

It's 03:20 am and Haneul is crying his lungs out while Baekhyun is walking around the nursery with him crying as well.

"Sweetie please tell me what to do." Baekhyun said crying.

Baekhyun changed him, fed him, took a bit of his clothes off , added clothes, sang... he did everything he could think of but his son wouldn't stop crying and Baekhyun was frustrated and thinking that he is not a good father or even that his son hated him.

Toben who was in the room with Baekhyun was in absolute silence seeing Baekhyun's tears.

"Baby please, what is wrong?"Baekhyun asked trying to breathe a bit.

How can a father not understand his own baby?

Maybe Baekhyun is not thinking straight because he is VERY tired.

"Haneul, dada loves you, please tell me what is wrong." Baekhyun asked sobbing but his baby only continued crying.

Baekhyun looked at Toben and opened the door for the dog.

"Toben wake up Chanyeol please." Baekhyun asked a bit desperate.

Maybe his baby is needs to go to hospital.

Toben ran to the master bedroom finding Chanyeol sleeping happily. Toben started barking waking Chanyeol up.

"What the actual fuck Toben!" Chanyeol asked annoyed "Baekhyun look at yo..." he looked to the side not finding his husband.

Toben barked again and ran showing Chanyeol the way. Chanyeol followed Toben finding both his son and his husband crying.

"He won't stop crying..." Baekhyun said sobbing "I think he is not feeling well. Or he doesn't like me."

Chanyeol walked slowly to them and took the baby to his arms. It's Haneul loves Baekhyun.

"Baby, sit down you are still recovering." Chanyeol said after kissing Baekhyun's forehead.

"Let's take him to the hospital." Baekhyun said while the baby was still crying just like him.

"Let's see what my mum has to say first." Chanyeol said calm "just take a sit." He and walked to his bedroom with the still crying baby and called his mother. "Haneul, let's wake up grandma, shall we?"

After a quick call with his mother they returned to the nursery.

"Mum said to massage his belly." Chanyeol explained laying his baby on Baekhyun's lap. "Move his legs like this." Baekhyun showed show to do it "try."

Baekhyun slowly did as instructed and after some time Haneul started to relax a bit.

"He loves you Baekhyun." Chanyeol said "look at his focussed face." Chanyeol smiled "he was just asking for some help to go to the toilet, poor thing."

"You change him." Baekhyun said not wanting to change the baby.

"Hell no, I'm sleeping right now." Chanyeol refused " How you can hug him." Chanyeol smiled.

Haneul was still distressed as it was a rocky night but when his nose inhaled the scent from Baekhyun's neck he stopped crying as he knew how safe he was.

"See?" Chanyeol said " he loves you. Don't ever think that he doesn't." Chanyeol kissed Baekhyun's lips "he was crying because he knew that you would help him like always. You are his dad"
