Chapter Forteen

Third-person pov:

Lilith woke from some noises like someone is sobbing. She groans and rubs her eyes while yawning. She gets up and looks at Ivan is whimpering and while tears roll down his cheeks but his eyes are closed. He is having a nightmare. His breathing was heavy. She felt tears in her eyes looking at him in this condition.

He whimpers like he is in pain: "no please, leave me, please don't"

She quickly shook him. She is so scared seeing him like this. She said softly: "Ivie please wake up, I'm scared, Ivie"

He let out a loud sob and whimper: "please no more, It's hurt"

She said sobbing: "Ivie, please wake up. Why are you crying? No one is here, Ivie"

His eyes open and he starts looking around. He looks at his baby sister looking so scared and his eyes soften. She hugged him while sobbing loudly on his chest. She said pouting: "why were you crying? I get so scared Ivie. Who hurt you?"

He sighed and said rubbing my back: "I'm fine. It's just a nightmare nothing much"

She said holding his face in her tiny hands: "no one can hurt you. You're so strong. It's just a bad dream"

He nodded then said simply: "can you go and sleep with David or anyone else?"

She look at him but nodded eventually don't want to disturb him. He said simply: "you're not angry with me right?"

She nodded her head softly and pick her bunny plushie. He said simply: "don't tell anyone about this otherwise they gonna get worried"

She said a simple yes and went to the next room. She is still half asleep. She went to Tristan room while thinking David. She went inside directly and went under the covers. She snuggles into his chest and murmured: "good night Davi"

Tristan felt someone snuggling into him. He groans and goes to shout at the person while thinking it's Hades who came to annoy him. He opens his eyes and saw a little figure under his blanket. He shows everyone he doesn't like hugs and cuddles but inside he loves them. He smiles at her cute pouty face.

He sighed and said to himself: "what's that little monkey doing to everyone?"

She makes everyone soft. She makes Alexander so soft and happy just like he was before his wife died. He was a happy person. Yes, he is a Mafia leader but with his family, he was a happy person but everything changed after his wife died. He changed so much. He gets so heartbroken. He loves his sons but he stops showing that love but when he met Lilith that his soft side came. She makes him go soft in just one meeting. He always felt like there is a bond that he never felt with anyone, not even his sons.

Tristan was only three years old when his mother died. He never remembers her but he knows one thing that he hears from his father and brothers that she was a great woman, loving wife and mother. Alexander can't take care of them properly alone with their business. Their grandfather starts abusing them when Alexander isn't at home.

One day they get to know that Alexander get shot and there is no news about him being alive. Their grandfather sends them to the orphanage. He sends Ivan somewhere else that no one knows. He was only 10 at that time. When Alexander came back after recovering he found out about everything and start finding his sons. He finds them but it takes whole 7 years for him to find Ivan. He finds him in an alleyway scared, alone and starving.

He was a bubbly child. Even after getting abused he makes everyone smile and tells them that everything gonna is fine. But after getting back home, he stop talking, he was no more the bubbly child he was used to.  Slowly his silence and pain turn into anger and he starts taking part in fights. Everyone try to ask him and talk to him but he never told anyone about what happened to him in these 7 years.
