Chapter Fifteen

Third-person pov:

Blade family is so happy for Christmas. They decorate the whole house and outside the garden. Alexander went out to buy a dress of Santa because he is becoming Santa for his little princess. All his sons are excited to see their father in Santa dress. They never had a proper childhood to enjoy all these moments of life. Alexander always tries to give their sons every happiness and everything.

Tristan and Draco went out to buy a few things. Hades went out to buy a dress for his little sunshine. David is in the living room doing some work while Riley is playing in the living room singing Christmas songs happily. David smile at her but it's changing into a frown when Ivan came inside struggling to even stand properly. David rushes towards him and holds him. Lilith gets scared to see him like this.

David asked helping him to the couch: "what happened?"

Ivan groans in pain. David checks him but there is no sign of any injury. David look at him worried. Ivan said struggling to get up: "my room"

David helped him to his room and Lilith came with a glass of water. She gives him water. He said simply: "medicine

David said simply: " what medicines?"

He let a painful groan and said simply: " closet second drawer"

Lilith rush towards the closet and open the door. She finds a bottle of some medicine. She gets it and rushes outside. She opens it and get a pill out but her hands start shaking looking at the medicine. She read the name and tears flow from her eyes. That's the same pills her mother took and get violent and aggressive.

David said simply: "Lilith medicine"

She shook her head. She doesn't want her brother to change like her mother. David said a little louder making her flinch and the bottle falls from the hand: "Lilith"

David groaned and pick the bottle and get a pill from it. He is going to give Ivan but Lilith snatch it from his hand. David look at her confused because she never behave like that. Ivan growled: "what the fuck are you doing? Do you want to kill me?"

She said softly sobbing: "no, please don't take these medicines. You will change like Mom"

David look at confused then he remembers her mother taking drugs but what Ivan is taking drugs and from when. He saw him struggling so much which make his heart clenched. He needs to take Lilith with him because no one is home right now. He said simply: "Lilith, come on. We're going to the hospital"

David gets Ivan to his car and lay her inside. Lilith sat next to him and David went to his seat. He sped off to the road. He said gently: "you will be fine Ivan"

They reach the hospital and David is helping Ivan and Lilith rush inside the hospital. She said softly at reception: "we need a doctor. My brother is in so much. Please help him"

The lady look at her weirdly and said blankly: "where are your brother and doctor is busy right now"

David growled at her: "call the fucking doctor right now"

She flinched and quickly calls someone. They get him to a room. The doctor gave him a sleeping injection to calm him down and get a sample of his blood. David and Lilith sit in Ivan room while David calls everyone about whatever happened. Lilith is so scared and also tired from crying. She is now snuggling into David side while he wraps his arms around her.

The doctor came and asked simply: "is he taking any medicines?"

David nodded and Lilith pull out the bottle from her pocket and give it to the doctor. David look at her and she said softly: "I don't want Ivie to take them again and change so I hide them in my pocket"
