Chapter Nineteen

Ivan pov:

David said making me gulp: "I also knew that you're betraying us for the last 8 years. Did I ever ask you why?"

I look at him with only guilt and start looking down. He said blankly: "when you never feel ashamed while doing then why feel bad accepting it"

I felt tears in my eyes but I try to hold them back. I can't get weak. I can't. Lilith said softly hugging me: "Davi, please don't talk like that to Ivie. He can't do that"

David said looking at me: "ask him if he didn't betray us"

She looks at me with those grey eyes that always make me weak. I can't lie to her. She is looking at me with hopeful eyes. I said while tears rolled down my cheek: "I did it. I'm the one who betrays you guys"

She look at me with wide eyes and tears rolled down her cheeks. Her hand slips from my hand making me realise how much damage I did. She whispers: "Ivan you"

Then we hear Dad's voice: "you did fucking what?"

I look at the door and he came inside looking too angry. I know dad doesn't like it when someone betrays him. He hate liars and he wouldn't forgive me. I didn't even hear the door open sound.

Before I can say anything, he came towards me and slap me. I know I deserve it but it's hurt emotionally more than physically. Dad never lay a hand on me whatever it is and now this.

He growled glaring at me: "why the fuck you're doing this for money?"

I can't tell him. I can't tell them. I ignore him and start looking here and there. He is going to slap me again but David grabs his hand and stops him. David said simply: "Dad, let him explain"

I said blankly getting up from the bed walking towards the mirror trying to act normal: "I don't have anything to say. I cheat you guys"

Dad grabs me by my collar and slaps me again. He said angrily: "you're a fucking stain on our family"

I roll me at him. He starts dragging me downstairs. I stumble in a few steps. He push me to the ground from the last step and growled: "leave this fucking house. Don't show me your face again. You're not my son. Just leave this damn house"

Lilith rushes downstairs while everyone came and look at me with hurt and pain in their eyes. Draco asked blankly: "what happened Dad and why you're looking angry?"

Tristan came to help me but Dad growled: "don't you dare to Tristan. He is the one who fucking betray us for all those years"

Hades said simply: "there must be a misunderstanding Dad, he can't do that"

Dad said glaring at me: "ask that traitor"

Everyone looks at me than David. He nods his head blankly. Hades asked: "why Ivan?"

I didn't say anything but all those questions are like someone stabbing my heart. Lilith came towards me and starts sobbing loudly hugging me. I felt so horrible to make her cry.

She said holding my face in her little hands: "Ivan don't do this. Please tell them you didn't cheat. I know you can't cheat. You love us so much please"

Dad holds her arm and pulls her away from me with a little difficulty because she is clinging to me. She said crying with hiccups: "no papa please don't make Ivan leave the house. He will tell everything papa. I know he can't do bad things"

I said looking at her condition: "dad you know, she gets hurt easily"

Dad said angrily: "you don't need to worry about her. She is fucking my daughter"
