Chapter Twenty

Third-person pov:

Blade family is waiting outside for Lilith to wake up. Ivan is standing outside her room looking at her through the glass. David is standing next to his dad leaning against the wall. Ivan saw Lilith wake up and talk to the nurse. He opens the door and rush inside.

He asked gently: "how are you feeling Lily?"

She smiles at him and whispers: "fine Ivie"

He sighed and went towards her. He pecks her forehead and hugs her. She smiles and asked gently: "I'm so sorry Lily"

She said holding his face: "no Ivie, nothing is your fault. Everything will be fine. Papa will forgive you"

He smiles and pecks her forehead then her nose making her giggle. He smile at her cute giggle and said smiling: "please don't scare us like that ever again. I will die if something happened to you"

She said pouting: "don't talk bad. I'm sorry"

He smile at her and everyone came inside. Everyone hug her and ask her how is she feeling. Alexander came towards her and hug her. He said softly: "you just give me a heart attack"

She said pouting: "don't talk bad papa"

He pecks her forehead and Ivan phone starts ringing. Everyone turns towards him. Alexander is glaring at him while David is looking at his phone. He pull out my phone and saw Albert. He takes a deep breath and hangs up the call. David went to meet Lilith and Ivan went out quickly. He doesn't want to make him angry. He calls him back immediately.

Ivan said simply: "what happened?"

He said smirking: "I hear what happened with that little girl"

Ivan said blankly: "you didn't call me just to ask about her condition"

He laughs like a psychopath then said smirking: "I need you in my penthouse with my money"

Ivan said simply: "I can't come right now. She is a hospital and everyone know"

He said grinning: "I know my special boy and I hear what your father did to you. I just want to take your pain away and make you feel good"

Ivan said simply: "I'm fine. I don't need"

He said cutting him off: "I didn't ask you, Ivan. Just come over there. You have just 40 minutes"

Ivan sighed when he hang up the call. He turns around and bumps into David. David looked at him with raised eyebrows. Ivan said simply: "what happened?"

David said blankly: "Albert right, what does he want now?"

Ivan said shrugging: "no it's not him. My friend"

David looks at him suspiciously but Alexander calls him. David said blankly: "I will talk to you later"

Ivan sighed and David call the doctor. He said blankly: "check his hand. Maybe he needs stitching"

The doctor nodded his head and Hades said peeking outside: "David dad is calling you"

David said sternly: "don't you dare to leave"

Ivan didn't say anything. David said simply: "I trust you, Ivan. Dad will also understand when his anger will get down"

Ivan give him a simple nod and David went inside patting his head. The doctor said simply: "this way sir"

Ivan said blankly: "I'm fine. You can leave"

The doctor tries to say but cut off by Ivan glare: "but sir"
