Chapter 11

Lily POV

My guys were shocked at my admission, when I say shocked, I mean jaws are on the ground. "What kind of magic can you do?" asked Jasen. It is not surprising that a newborn would be interested in learning about other creatures. "So far I can do force-field generation, healing, energy burst, energy circles, invocations, evocations, potioncraft, transmutation, telekinesis, spellcraft, zoolingualism, animation, power negation, omnilingualism, bioimmunity, divination, theurgy, and warding. I only know the basics," I said. "Why didn't your father get help from the Amazons?" asked Dominique. 

"Abby was afraid that they would kill him and take me. He wanted me to have a normal life without being used as a breeding  tool or a weapon. Only a few people know about this," I answered in a defensive tone. I don't like people judging Abby. "My love, we mean no harm," Richard says in a soothing manner. "How did you three meet?" asks Marco. Ji Ah and Kif started to chuckle together at the memory. "We met when we were first starting school. A bully was picking on them. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, and kicked the little jackass between the legs as hard as I could. They first saw me use my magic when I saved Kif from falling out of a tree. I used telekinesis to catch him," I said, smiling at the two memories. "My father is like a dad to them, and Soo-Ah is the closest thing to a granddaughter for now," I said.  

"How many males have you dated?" asked Marco. My other guys  perked up at the sudden question. "I have never been on a date in my life," I answered in an embarrassed tone. "You mean you are a virgin?" asked Jasen in surprise. Did they think that I had 200 boyfriends or something? Why would anyone be shocked that a 22-year-old is a virgin nowadays? Just because I am young doesn't mean that I am automatically sexually active. "Yes, I am a virgin," I said as someone knocked on the door. Ji Ah went to the door, and brought back a box. I spotted a red wet spot on the bottom side of the box, and it gave off a familiar coppery smell. I grabbed the box from Ji Ah and pushed her and Kif towards the guys for protection. The guys looked at me with confusion, but the coppery smell probably hit their noses. I ripped open the box before anyone could stop me. Inside the box was Riseva's severed head. No, not another one! 

5 hours Later

It has been five hours since I found Riseva's head. Ji Ah was really distraught to the point that Kif had to carry her home with little Soo-ah following right behind them, oblivious to what was going on. I was in shock, I could hear everything going on around me but couldn't move. Abby was ordering my guys to pack up my things and take me to safety. Richard volunteered to take me to his place, and without asking anyone how they felt about it, he was barking orders on his phone. Kerym Torgeiros is a newborn fairy-vampire hybrid/Richard's assistant and right-hand man. I met Kerym a couple of times, the blond fairy looked 21-years-old but was in fact 200. He acts as a doctor, driver, bodyguard, and assistant for Richard since Richard saved his life by turning him into a newborn. The hybrid will commit crimes for his lord. 

Jasen packed  me a couple of bags, including my laptop bag, and set them next to me. A knock on my door, and Kerym was suddenly next to me, grabbing my things. Marco wrapped a blanket around me, picked me up bridal style, and handed me to Richard. Dominique was trying to question the neighbors on any strangers they didn't recognize coming in or out of the boarding house. I almost didn't see Richard's pissed off face before falling asleep. A protective and angry vampire lord is a dangerous kind of vampire.
