Lily POV
I made the guys do a game of rock-paper-scissors, and Richard won. The others were following behind him in their cars. Richard seems to be taking good care of his BMW. Dominique drives a Toyota, Jasen drives a Honda, and Marco drives an SUV. "How come you don't have a car?" he asked. "I am a terrible driver. The DMV people gave me $400 to not drive ever again," I replied. Richard, had the audacity to laugh at my inability to drive. I'm trying not to pout like a little kid. "Here we are, be nice to my neighbors, they are eccentric. Ji Ah and Kif live here with their 4-year-old daughter, Soo-Ah. Soo-Ah is a sweet kid, but she is also eccentric with an obsession with vampires. Soo-Ah is my goddaughter, and her parents are my childhood friends. Ji Ah is like a black girl trapped in a Korean girl's body. Please be nice!" I pleaded. Richard just smirked and booped my nose. I have an urge to nip that finger.
Richard POV
She lives in an adequate boarding house. As soon as we all got out of our cars, Ji Ah, Kif, and little Soo-Ah came rushing out to hug Liliana. "Best friend, are you okay? Riseva told everybody what happened. Did that mothafucka hurt you?" asked Ji Ah, giving our boss/Richard the stink eye. "I am fine, you guys. I guess I have four guys claiming me," I said. Soo-ah was staring at Richard in awe and ignoring the other three. "Vampire. Touch," Soo-Ah said while putting her tiny hand on Richard's leg. "Soo-Ah, stop that!" Kif hissed as Soo-Ah snatched her hand away. I introduced my friends to the other three, and they all shook hands. "There is something I have to tell you guys. Ji Ah and Kif already know, but they would also want to be there for emotional support. We need to discuss this at my home," I said.
A Few Moments Later
We are in my tiny home that is good enough for a couple who don't have much. My home is $650 a month, Terra cottage style. Fortunately, I am able to use my tips for what little groceries I buy, and buy bus passes. I had Soo-ah go into my room, she can entertain herself.
I instructed my guys to sit on my couch while my friends and I prepared drinks for the guys. I gave Richard one of my canned wines, since I don't have bagged blood in the fridge. After serving the guys, Ji Ah patted my back while Kif squeezed my hand in comfort. My father forbade me from telling anybody this because not only would it put a target on my back, but my secret makes me very valuable.
"Look, I am telling you this because what is done in the dark comes into light. My father forbade me from telling anyone because it would bring me unnecessary drama in my life. I do not want any interruptions when I tell you guys this. You have to keep it to yourselves. Am I clear?" I asked. The guys nodded in agreement.
"I am an Amazon, but a unique one. Very few Amazons have magical abilities, I happen to be one of them. But that is not the secret though. The secret is that I am a Lady Amazon, just an Amazon version of a Lady Vampire. Abby can't use magic, the God that animated me, made me into a Lady Amazon. You didn't sense it because one of my abilities is power negation. I was tutored by a warlock to teach me the basics, while my nannies taught me how to fight, dance, cook, and read. So, any questions?" I asked.
