Silas was sitting on his sofa in his apartment, in front of his lay multiple contract to numerous labs all over the world. Silas had just graduated from Central City University. He was being headhunted by multiple labs and it was taking Silas a while to decide where to go none of them seeming like the right move. His life was going well he had a girlfriend that he had met during his time at university and were starting to get pretty serious. He walked into the bedroom where she slept, he leaned over her moving her hair out of her face before kissing her on her forehead before leaving the apartment. He walked down the street towards his favourite breakfast restaurant to pick up his usual order. He stood leaning against a counter as he waited for his food. While Silas was waiting a man walked over to him standing next to him. He was wearing a a black three piece suit and dark shades covering his eyes. He looked out over the restaurant before he introduced himself.

"Hello Dr Stone. My name is Eobard Thawne, I'm working on a little something that I think you might be interested in." Thawne stated as he smiled. Silas looked at him with a confused but carious look on his face. "I have an idea of a future world were everyone get to live their dreams and make the world a better place" Thawne continued. Silas listened intently waiting for Thawne to finish. "I want to start a lab right here in Central City, I have the funding that nobody in this time can comprehend" he laughed. "I want you to join me in starting this lab. Be apart of history Dr Stone. help me with this venture" Thawne finished now facing Silas with his hand outstretched. Silas looked at Thawne incited by his offer, he could see the conviction in his eyes knowing he meant what he said. Before he could reply his order was called out letting Silas know his food was ready. He looked at Thawne before asking his if he could think about it. Thawne nodded before giving his his contact info and walking out of the restaurant a picking up a coffee on his way out. Silas grabbed his order and walked home to find his girlfriend sitting in one of his shirts sipping coffee while watching the tv. He walked over to her handing her the food as he sat down beside her. In their time together Silas had grown closer to Elinore to the point he was making decisions with her input and help. Elinore could see that something was on Silas's mind so asked him what was on his mind.

"I was just out at the breakfast place down the road and I had a very intriguing conversation with a man named Eobard Thawne" Silas stated as he looked at Elinore. She was listening intently to Silas taking on board what he was saying before speaking.

"So what was different about this offer?" Elinore questioned moving over to the pile of offer stacked on Silas's desk. She picked up one of the offers holding it in the air. "Like this one, Mercury Labs. Decent money, exciting projects, but this one has sat at your desk for weeks but you didn't want it. Then this offer drops into your lap and it's at the front of your mind. Why?" Elinore asked with a confused smile on her face. Silas stood up looking at the letter in Elinore's hand and then at Thawne's contact info. He then looked at Elinore before answering.

"It just feels right" Silas stated with a smile on his face. Elinore smiled back before kissing him showing her support for his decision. Silas picked up Thawne's contact information and began to email him his confirmation.

2012

Thawne stood in main room of Star Labs. He hovered around the room checking his workers projects as his white coat flapped behind him. He smiled to himself helping correct minor mistakes as he checked on the projects. He was holding a helping out one of the younger scientists when Silas walked into the room ushering Thawne to come over to him. Thawne obliged and walked out of the main room and into a separate lab with Silas. Thawne wandered what Silas was doing and asked as much when the door shut behind them. Silas popped out a ring and showed it to Thawne. Thawne looked at the ring before answering.
