Author's Note: I don't own Power Rangers Dino Thunder, which belongs to Toei Company, LTD. I'm writing this story as a hobby and also because I was inspired by an awesome Power Rangers fanfic: Power Rangers Dino Thunder: The Prodigy by Felwhinter. This story is going through the episodes of the show with some changes here and there. I hope you guys have a happy read!

Lewis' POV
Today's my first day at Reefside High and it's going...fine. A couple of boring classes and a really annoying blondie that wouldn't shut up about becoming the next news reporter, but I was able to pull through. A couple of friends I made were Krista and Ethan. Krista is nice, pretty and I found out she won an environmental youth award. Ethan is pretty cool, people say he's a geek but I don't think he's that geeky, though we did get into a long chat about Starship Troopers. During biology class, Krista and Ethan were my lab partners and they were great to work with even if I was the only one that was able to keep my appetite while dissecting a rat. When class ended, I asked the two, "Hey, is it alright if I join you guys for lunch?" Krista replied, "Sure. Also gotta give you credit for not being able to puke when we were dissecting that rat."
Ethan replied, "How did you not even throw up? What was left of the rat was NASTY!"
I smiled, "Ethan, I didn't puke because before high school, I've seen much grosser things."
When we sat outdoors and ate lunch, I started telling Krista and Ethan, "So one day in middle school, I was doing a forensic class. Everybody was doing an autopsy on a fake body which was pretty gross but a couple of bullies thought it was too easy so the teacher decided to make just them do an autopsy on an even more disgusting one."
That made Krista and Ethan laugh hysterically.
Ethan joked, "Tip for students: If you're in forensics and doing an autopsy on a gross body, don't ask for an even grosser one."
Later, I started hearing music and when I turned around, I saw it was a beautiful girl sitting on a bench, playing guitar. "Hey Ethan, who's that?" I asked him. "Hm? Oh, that's Kira. I should warn you, she kinda has a fiery attitude but hey, if you like her, go for it." Ethan replied.
"Okay, it's not like that, dude. I just want to get to know her." I retorted. 
"Alright, whatever you say, man," Ethan said with a hint of snark. I rolled my eyes and walked over to her. When I was hearing her play, she was pretty good. I quietly tapped my foot to what she was playing though that caused her to stop and look at me.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I just...really liked what you were playing." I apologized nervously.
"No, it's fine. Um, what's your name?" Kira asked.
"My name's Lewis. I'm the new guy here and I'm a bit of a guitar player myself." I said. 
"Oh really? What type of guitar do you play?" Kira asked, starting to get interested.
"I play acoustic from time to time. Say what you will about bass or electric but if you want a guitar to get newcomers to play, acoustic is the best choice." I said with a smile.
"Yeah, that's true. You know what? I have a challenge: See if you can play my guitar." Kira said, handing me her guitar. At first, I was hesitant but I wanted to show her I can play, so I started playing Walk The Line by Johnny Cash. When I finished, Kira smiled and said, "Not bad. You're not so much of a dork as I thought you were."
I smirked, "Thanks. Just wondering, have you ever wanted to play in a band?"
Kira replied, "All my life. I do have a plan going, and maybe in a couple of years, I'll be touring across the world with loads of people cheering."
I smiled at her, "I know I'll be cheering for you." Kira smiled back and playfully messed up my hair. As the bell rang, we got off the bench and I gave Kira back her guitar. "Well, it was really nice to meet you, Kira. Let me know if you want to hang out sometime." I said. "I'll keep that in mind, Lewis." Kira said and as she walked back inside, I felt something in my pocket and when I got it out, it was a piece of paper that read: 'Here's my number, new guy, call me after school if you want to play guitar- Kira.' I grinned after reading and put her number into my cellphone. I began to walk back inside and from the looks of Ethan and Krista's faces, they watched the whole thing. Ethan saw me holding the paper and smiled, patting my shoulder, "Way to score some points, man. Anything else she wrote on that paper?"
I quickly put it back into my pocket and said, "Nope, just her number." Unfortunately, Krista grabbed the paper out of my pocket looked at it, and said, "Aw! She wants you to call her after school. There's your chance, Romeo."
Ethan then said, "Listen, when you're calling her, don't act like you're going to date her. Just be yourself with more confidence. You're calling her to jam and sing songs."
I replied, "Okay, okay! I'll keep it in mind, guys. Anything else?" Krista then quickly fixed the back part of my hair. She then said, "Sorry, that back part was really bothering me. You and Kira are adorable together but she really messes up your hair."
I chuckled a little, looked at my schedule and saw my next class which was Introduction to Paleontology. "Crud, I gotta get to Paleontology class," I said.
"Yeah, same here. Don't say you got this from me but Kira might be there too." Ethan said with a smirk. When Ethan and I entered paleontology class, I saw Kira writing in her notebook and as I sat next to her, my voice cracked when asking, "Have we met before?" Kira chuckled a little and looked at me, "I'm a little glad we did."
"So, what are you writing? New song?" I asked and as I leaned over for a quick peak, she closed her notebook and said, "If you honestly need to know, it's a new song of mine...but it's not done yet." 
"Is it about someone?" I asked her.
"A little..why?" Kira replied a little bluntly.
"I'm just curious. Let me know when you finish it, I'll be excited to hear it." I replied.
Soon, the paleontology teacher came into the classroom and he turned out to be someone I know. "Hey, I recognize him, that's Tommy Oliver!" I said to Kira.
"Okay, how DID you recognize him? I thought you were the new kid." Kira said. "He's a friend of my parents and also taught me some self-defense when I was a kid," I replied and the surprised look on Kira's face spoke for itself. As Tommy was taking attendance, he noticed an empty stool. "Is someone missing?" He asked.
"I bet Conner's down in the soccer field again. He practically lives there." I heard a random student say. "Yeah, I'll get him," I said, leaving the classroom. I walked down to the soccer field and I saw a redhead scoring an impressive goal with the referee ducking. "Excuse me. Are you Conner McKnight?" I asked the redhead.
He replied, "The one and only. Who are you supposed to be? The attendance monitor?"
I rolled my eyes and said, "I'm Lewis. Sorry to interrupt soccer practice but it's time for you to get to Paleontology class." Conner said while doing some ball tricks, "Sorry, dude but I'm gonna pass. It's just a waste of time. Just talking about fossils, how's that going to help me in the future?" I then thought for a moment and said, "Well, how about this? A: You skip all of paleontology class and repeat high school. Or B: Suck it up and you might be a little bit closer to college soccer." Conner then stopped and said, "Alright, I'll go." As he and I started walking back to the school, he decided to kick things up a notch. "See if you can beat me, new kid!" He said as he started running. I was getting close to catching up with him and almost tripped me but I jumped off the lockers and ran faster.
"How does it feel to be behind the new kid, soccer boy?" I asked teasingly and continued running. When we reached the paleontology class, both of us were out of breath. "Found him..." I said panting as I came in. Everyone looked at us in surprise and I sat next to my spot with Kira.
"What happened? Were you two chased by Randall or something?" Kira asked, chuckling.
"McKnight turned getting back to class into a race. At least I showed I'm faster than him." I said, catching my breath. When school ended, I zipped up my backpack and came outside, seeing Kira on a school table, playing her guitar. I walked up to her and said, "Hey Kira, I don't suppose you want to walk home with me."
She smiled, "Thanks for the offer, Lewis but I'll be fine walking home by myself."
I shrugged, "Suit yourself." Just as I started walking away, Kira stopped me, "Wait, I finished writing my song. Wanna hear it?"
I smiled, "Definitely!" Kira then started playing her guitar and singing her new song and I sat down, listening to her. But then, the demonic principal came over to us and gave Kira detention for not having permission to perform which made me roll my eyes.
I then had enough when Randall said that Kira didn't look like she's college material. I then said to the principal, "Randall, if you think insults are the best thing to say to someone who's just trying to have fun. I'll be happy to call you an unpleasant, obnoxious and moronic airhead everyday of the week." I glanced over at Kira and her jaw dropped.
Principal Randall then said angrily, "And you can also have detention for that mouth of yours!" Kira and I were annoyed but I tried to be a little positive and said, "Well, it could be worse."
"How in the world could detention be worse?!" Kira asked annoyed.
"Well, we could be in the office of the worst principal ever or just be in a room with a couple of other poor schmucks. Which would you choose?" I joked. Suddenly, the sprinklers came on and started spraying us. As I was helping Kira dry off her guitar, I saw Ethan walking around holding an umbrella with a cocky smile. As Kira and I sat down soaked, I then saw Conner and Ethan walking over to join us. "You too, huh?" I said to Ethan and he nodded his head.
"I guess the demonic principal found out you did some tinkering with the sprinklers?" I asked. Ethan snickered, "Yeah. I thought nobody would find out but I guess Randall has eyes like a hawk or something."
"It was a good prank anyway." I said and then turned to Conner, "What about you, McKnight? Did the banshee principal see you miss scoring a goal?" Conner laughed and said, "First of all, I always score a goal. Second, she just saw me practicing with the world's worst goalie and gave me detention. I heard about your insult towards Randall, though. Little impressed but she's gonna have your head on a desk if you insult her like that again!" I said, "Hey when someone's being a jerk to my friends, I'll definitely stand up for them and say something insulting back." When Tommy came to us, he asked, "So...you guys like museums?" Well, anything was better than being in a room with Randall. Tommy then drove us to the Reefside Museum but strangely, it was closed.
"Oh well, no museum for us," Conner said cockily. "Guess we can go home," Kira said, thinking she has a way out of it. "Tell you what? You guys have a look around. If any of you find anything prehistoric, I'll cancel detention for the rest of the week." Tommy said, giving an offer any student would be foolish to refuse. The 4 of us began to walk away while Tommy decided to do some snooping. As we were walking around the forest, Ethan asked, "Hey, did you guys ever hear the story about the guy who was hiking up here and fell into a giant sinkhole?"
Kira replied deadpanned, "Must have missed that one."
I said, "Never even heard of it."
"C'mon, it was on all the urban legend websites!" Ethan said and Conner retorted to him, "Dude, you know this isn't computer club, right?"
Ethan then said sarcastically, "Ooh, I guess you're too big and bad to surf the web. What do you do in your spare time?"
Conner replied, "Me? I go out with girls. Y'know, the ones at school that smell good with the long hair and the makeup."
I quietly whispered to Kira, "He's confusing Saved By The Bell for reality again." Kira laughed and whispered back, "Preaching to the choir." As the three of us began to walk away from Ethan, he shouted, "Look, I'm trying to give you guys the heads up: Stuff happens out here. Just don't come crying to me when you fall into a giant sinkhole!" Suddenly, I couldn't hear him anymore and saw Ethan vanish, and before I could warn Conner and Kira, the three of us fell down a sinkhole. As we got off the floor, Conner looked up and said, "Alright guys, stay here. I'll climb up and get some help." Conner tried to climb the wall but seconds later: he fell back down. As we explored, Kira quietly sang a part of her song to stay calm though when Conner interrupted, "Babe, can you keep it down? I'm trying to stay focused here." Something must have set her off because she went up to him and angrily said, "Listen, my name is Kira! Maybe you should write it on your hand so you could remember something in that empty head of yours!"
The 4 of us then saw what looked like a velociraptor skeleton but as Conner adjusted the mouth, it opened an entrance to what looked like a secret lab. As we all looked around, our eyes then caught on a blue, red, yellow, and silver gem resting on a pedestal. Ethan said it could be harmful but when picking it up, the gems just glowed. We then left the lab but where we left, turned out to be another part of the forest. Suddenly, strange creatures teleported out of nowhere. "Well, here's one thing to do in times like these: RUN!" I shouted. The 4 of us ran for our lives but when one of the monsters tried to attack Kira, she gave out a sonic scream, making us cover our ears but also blowing the monsters away. "What was that?" Ethan asked in surprise.
"I have no idea," Kira replied.
Then, more monsters came in, and the four of us began to fight them off. I saw that my gem could make me teleport, sending the monsters crashing into each other. Ethan's blue gem made him stronger and Conner could take the monsters down at super speed. With the monsters knocked out, Ethan looked at his gem and said, "How much do I love detention!"
I chuckled and said to him, "With getting powers like these, you can call it the best thing that ever happened." We then saw Tommy run over to us and we quickly hid our gems.
"Are you guys alright?" He asked us and we all said that we were fine. "Nothing out of the ordinary happened?" Tommy replied with suspicion.
"Nah, just your hike in the woods. Found some furry creatures." Ethan said. "And a few scaly ones," Kira muttered.
"So, did you get into the Dino exhibit?" Conner asked. "They're still working the kinks out. We'd better get you guys back. Come on." As Tommy walked away, Kira asked us quietly, "Don't you guys think we should tell him?"
"I don't know about you but I've got over a thousand sci-fi DVDs. You want to know how the dude with the superpowers ends up in some secret freaky government lab lying on the table with wires in his head?" Ethan retorted. "Are you guys coming?" Tommy asked as he turned to us. We later arrived back at school and Conner said, "Okay, so we agree: no one talks about this. To anyone, no matter what."
Kira retorted, "I can do better than that." She then placed the yellow gem in Conner's hand and said with some snark, "Just forget I was here and I'll do the same."
Soon enough, it turned into an argument about who will have the gems that ended with Kira walking away. But then, more monsters came to take her, and as the four of us ran to help her, the monsters teleported away. Ethan got the idea to go to Dr Oliver for some help and we got into Conner's car and started driving. Later, Conner parked at Tommy's house but strangely, the door was unlocked. We looked around and saw a tiny dinosaur skeleton. As Conner was about to touch it, Ethan stopped him and said, "Hey, remember the last time you touched it."
Conner said, "Dude the guy's a teacher, not a madman." As he touched it, a secret entrance opened and as we walked downstairs, it was the same lab where the gems were. It's official: we were all freaked out. "If you're looking for extra credit, you're in the wrong place," Tommy said to us as he came in.
Timeskip: Day of the Dino Part 2
Lewis' POV
"Dr O, before you go off. Can we explain why we're here?" Ethan asked Tommy.
Conner said quietly, "Dude, he's gonna laugh when we tell him."
"But it's the truth. He'll believe us!" Ethan retorted. Conner then said, "Alright. Kira's gone." Ethan continued, "She got taken by these weird-looking dinosaur things." I finished, "And they teleported away. That's all we saw and we didn't know what else to do."
Tommy then said, "They're called Tyrannodrones." "And you know that because?" Ethan asked with interest. "I helped create them." Tommy retorted.
"Oh, class project?" Ethan asked sarcastically.
"It's a long story. For now, we gotta figure out what they want with Kira." Tommy replied.
Conner then realized and said, "It might have something to do with these." He then got the red gem out of his pocket and showed it to Tommy. After Ethan and I also gave him our gems, Conner said, "We're really sorry. How were we supposed to know that those gems had superpowers and those lizard dudes were gonna come looking for them?"
Tommy then said, "Well...I guess this isn't exactly something you see every day."
Ethan retorted, "Sort of like a science teacher with the ruins of an ancient civilization under his house?" Conner then said, "Like not that this isn't all really cool but seriously dude, you gotta come clean."
"Okay, first of all: don't call me dude. Second, as hard as this may seem, you 3 need to forget all about this. I'll find Kira." As Tommy was walking away, Conner stopped him with his super speed and Tommy saw the gem was starting to bond with Conner.
"You can tell us all about it now or at my next parent-teacher conference," Conner said. Soon, we got into Tommy's black jeep and as he was driving, Ethan asked him, "So when you said you helped create those tyrano...whatevers. You were just kidding, right?" Tommy sighed, "They weren't supposed to be used like this. Someone's modified their programming. A few years back, I was doing some research by combining Dinosaur DNA with technology. My partner, a scientist named Anton Mercer-"
"The rich guy who disappeared years ago," Ethan said, remembering the name.
"Yep. Shortly after Mercer disappeared, our lab was attacked. All of our research was destroyed. Or at least I thought it was." Tommy said.
"And the guy who did this is back?" Conner asked.
"He calls himself Mesagog," Tommy replied.
"Do you think he's after the gems?" I asked Tommy. "Looks like it," Tommy replied.
"Look, this is all fascinating but how is this helping us find Kira? I mean, she's not gonna just fall out of the sky and land right in front of us."
Suddenly, the green portal came again and Kira landed on Tommy's jeep. We quickly got out of Tommy's jeep and helped her off it. "You okay?! How the heck did you do that?" I asked her.
"I have no idea. One minute, I'm being chased by some rejected mad scientist in his creepy lab. And the next thing I know: I'm a hood ornament!"
"Invisiportals," Tommy said.
"So that's what they're called. I guess Sky Portals was already taken." I said to myself.
"Next time: I'm calling a cab. What are you guys doing here?" Kira said to us.
"We came to rescue you!" Ethan said.
"Nice job. Way to show up when I don't need you anymore." Kira replied sarcastically. Suddenly, tyrannodrones with their general came out of an invisiportal coming over to us.
"Mesagog need a new goon to do his dirty work?" Tommy said to the general. "You are not fit to speak my master's name. Come with me peacefully or suffer the consequences." The general said angrily.
"I'm gonna have to say: no," Tommy replied and the general commanded the tyrannodrones to attack. Luckily, Conner, Ethan, Kira, me, and Tommy were able to take them down despite a few receiving upgrades. "Tell your master that Dr Oliver's back." Tommy declared to the general.
"I will inform him that this battle is over but the war has just begun." The general replied menacingly and then teleported away with the tyrannodrones. It was starting to get late and Tommy then said he'll fill us in tomorrow after school about what else he was doing before he became a teacher.
A day later
Lewis' POV
Before the start of paleontology class, I sat down near Conner and Ethan, keeping an eye out to see if any other students knew. I then saw Kira walk in until Cassidy came up to her and started asking about the tyrannodrones that captured her and the "sudden friendship between Conner McKnight, Ethan James, and that weird new kid."
Kira replied, "First of all that new kid is named Lewis, Cassidy. I thought reporters were supposed to do research before asking questions. Second, I have no idea what you're talking about but as you can clearly see, I'm fine though I think you need to look in a mirror, you look a little...pasty."
As soon as Cassidy got out her phone to check, Kira walked away and sat next to me.
I whispered to her, "And the best distract award goes to you, Ms Ford."
She chuckled and said, "She's too easy."
Tommy then came in and said, "Cassidy, unless you're planning to give a lecture on the Mesozoic period, I suggest you take a seat." Seconds later, the ground began to shake and the sky turned pitch black. Tommy and I then overheard someone named Devin telling Cassidy, "I just got this wack report about mechanical dinosaurs attacking downtown."
Cassidy then told him to get his camera and just as Tommy was about to stop them, an announcement from Randall on the intercom shouting, "Students remain calm! The mayor has declared a state of emergency. Please report to the front of the school for immediate dismissal. Again, remain calm." Kira, Conner, Ethan, and I went to Tommy, and after Kira asked Tommy what's going on.
Tommy said, "We're out of time. If Mesagog revived the bio zords, we gotta act fast. Come with me!"
Later, we returned to Tommy's lab and Kira said, "So these mechanical dinosaurs, they're your friends?"
"Bio-zords. Fusion-powered replicants using actual Dinosaur DNA for the neuron functions." Tommy replied.
"Let me guess: You helped build them," Ethan said. "I'm afraid so. But right now, we...I mean, you have to tame them." Tommy replied and Ethan said, "I'll B.B.L if it's all the same to you." Tommy asked confused, "What's that mean?"
"Be Back Later." I said and just as Ethan was about to walk away, Tommy stopped him, "Ethan, wait! You can do this. But you won't have to do it alone."
Tommy then walked over to a briefcase on a table, "Ever since I found the Dino gems, I've had these waiting, in case I ever needed to harness their powers." "Into what?" Kira asked and Tommy opened the case and answered, "Dino morphers. Use these to become Power Rangers." 
"I gotta sit down." Ethan said overwhelmed.
"Breathe, dude." Conner said to him.
"We can't be Power Rangers! Aren't you supposed to fly or have superhuman strength? Stuff like that." Kira said.
"Kira, you literally took down mechanical creatures just by super sonic screaming. You already do." I said to her. "Oh yeah, I forgot." Kira said.
"Your gems are from the asteroid that crashed into Earth millions of years ago, wiping out the dinosaur population. When I found them, I recognized their power and hid them so they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands." Tommy told us.
"How do you know our hands are the right ones?" Conner asked him.
"The gems are yours. You didn't choose them, they chose you." Tommy answered vaguely.
"Can't they unchoose us?" Kira asked him.
"They've already bonded with your DNA. That's what giving you your powers." Tommy replied.
"So if they've already bonded with us, how come Mesagog and his creeps are still after them?"
Ethan asked.
"The only way these powers can be taken away is if you're destroyed." Tommy said as a warning.
"Okay, for future reference, that's not a great selling point." Ethan said to him.
"Look, all I know is I don't remember asking to be a superhero." Conner said.
"The gems wouldn't have bonded to you if you didn't already have something inside you that can't handle the power." Tommy said. The four of us then grabbed our morphers and Ethan asked while fiddling with his, "So now what? Is there a secret password or command?"
"All you have to do is say, 'Dino Thunder, Power Up' and you'll be transformed. After that, you'll know what to do." Tommy replied.
"Dino Thunder. What, did you come up with that?" Conner teasingly asked Ethan.
"I kind of like it!" Ethan retorted.
"Same here." I said to Ethan. "Heh, both of you would." Conner replied with some snark.
"Look, I know you 4 are from different worlds, I get it. But you're gonna have to work together or else this will never happen. This won't be easy. Nobody knows that better than I do. But you're gonna have to believe in yourselves cause I believe in you." Tommy said. "Alright, thanks for the pep talk, Dr. O. Come on guys, we've got some biozords to tame." I said and we all got into Tommy's jeep.
3rd Person's POV
Later, Tommy's jeep parked where the biozords were wrecking havoc on Reefside and Conner, Ethan, Lewis, Kira, and Tommy got out of the jeep and looked up to see the biozords. Suddenly, the general called Zeltrax teleported from a red portal and says menacingly to them, "You'll have to get past me before you get those zords."
Conner declares, "That's the part I'm looking forward to."
Ethan asks, "You guys ready?"
Kira smiled, "Oh yeah." The four activate their morphers and say in unison, "DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!" They all morph into their respective colors, becoming the Power Rangers!
"Call out your weapons, they're in your belt!" Tommy said to the rangers. Conner got a tyrano staff, Ethan got a tricera shield, Kira got Ptera grips and Lewis got an Apato sword. Zeltrax then summoned tyrannodrones to attack the rangers but they were taken down with the rangers displaying some creative moves with Ethan tossing the tyrannodrones with his shield and Lewis tossing his sword in the air and punched some of the tyrannodrones and grabbed it as it came back and said, "How's this for a slice?"
He then slashed the tyrannodrones in one swoop. "Freeze!" Ethan shouted at Zeltrax.
"You first." Zeltrax retorted. He then grabbed Ethan in a tractor beam and then sent him flying into a gate. Conner, Kira and Lewis ran over to help Ethan up but then they were blasted by beams coming out of Zeltrax's helmet. Soon as the rangers got up, they heard Tommy say, "Rangers, combine your weapons!" "On it!" Lewis said. The rangers did as instructed and formed the Z-Rex blaster. "FIRE!" The rangers shouted in unison and the blaster created a huge blast, sending it at Zeltrax, wounding him.
"You showed me your weapons. Now, I'll show you mine!" Zeltrax said before escaping through a red portal. Suddenly, a huge spaceship piloted by Zeltrax came in and fired at the rangers and Tommy. "Okay, how do we fight that?" Conner asked him.
"You gotta tame the zords. Concentrate, your morphers will communicate your thoughts to them." Tommy said to the rangers.
Ethan then said to the tricera zord, "Calm down boy. That's it, I'm your friend."
The tricera zord's eyes glowed and then its color that was originally green transformed to blue. "Okay, my turn. Ptera Zord, we can be friends, right?" Kira said and the Ptera Zord's eyes began to glow and the color turned yellow.
Conner then tamed his red tyranno Zord and Lewis saw his zord on top of a building and said through his morpher, "Apatos Zord! We're buddies, aren't we?" His zord's eyes glowed and its color then turned into a silver color, it worked!
"Only one more thing to do, bring them together!" Tommy instructed the rangers. "Let's do it!" Conner said and the rangers went into their respective zords. "Combining power!" The rangers said in unison and the zords combined into the Thundersaurus Megazord. "Your robot is no match for me! FIRE!" Zeltrax shouted in his ship. It then began firing at the megazord, shaking the rangers in it. "Now you really did it!" Conner shouted in anger. Zeltrax's ship then fired ropes at the megazord and started electrocuting the megazord. Luckily, Conner got an idea and made the megazord swing on the rope to go higher in the air and use the Dino drill to destroy the heart of the ship. The ship then exploded in a brilliant burst of fire and the rangers celebrated in the megazord.
Lewis' POV
A day later, when Tommy opened the briefcase, I saw the morphers transform into bracelets holding the dino gems and Tommy told us while we got the bracelets out the case, "Keep these bracelets with you at all times. They'll access your morphers when you need them and you can use these to communicate with me and with each other."
"Dr O, I know you're real smart and a science teacher and everything but this is...I mean, how did you" Kira tried asking how does this sound like a normal day at the office.
"I'll fill you in. In time." Tommy replied vaguely. "Speaking of time, you think Mesagog's gonna stick around for a while?" Ethan asked him.
"Unfortunately, they always do." Tommy replied. "What do you mean by they?" I asked him.
"I know this is a lot to take in. Your lives have just changed in ways you probably can't imagine but as long as you work together and remember: you're a team. No one can defeat you." Tommy said.
Hours later, I entered my bedroom and just as I was about to place my bracelet into my desk, my mom came up and she saw it and asked me, "Lewis, what were you putting into your desk?" I said, "Um, just a silver bracelet that I made in..home economics."
My mom seemed to buy the excuse I made up and wished me goodnight. After I said goodnight and got into bed, I was about to sleep until I heard some small sparks. I turned over and saw they were coming from my bracelet. I carefully activated my morpher and whispered, "Dino Thunder, power up!" When I was in ranger form, I looked at my morpher and saw it started to look a little scorched. Oh, that's really not a good sign!
