Lewis' POV
It was the start of another weekend and I was walking over to Hayley's Cybercafé and had my usual hang out with the gang. Though when I walked in, I began to have this awful feeling in my stomach, maybe I need a drink. After sitting next to Kira, I saw Trent working the bar and I ordered a pink lemonade to calm my stomach. As he gave my drink, I thanked him and overheard Ethan say, "Hey, check it out! It says here that brainwaves are just electrical impulses that if converted into a binary language, it can be downloaded!" Trent replied, "Yeah, I read that one too. It means our eyes could maybe become the video cameras of the future."  Conner then said with a hint of snark, "Geek TV. I wonder if it'll ever become basic cable." I whispered to Kira, "If Conner's own life was a show, it'd be nothing but him doing soccer stunts and failing with hitting on girls." Kira snickered, "That might entertain some people, I know that."

Soon, we heard the doors open and saw an admittedly attractive woman in a red dress with black hair enter the cafe with her entourage. "Hey, isn't that the girl from Ocean Alert?" Kira asked, getting Conner & Ethan's attention. "The most popular television show of all time? I need a paper bag, I'm gonna hyperventilate." Ethan said, awestruck. I rolled my eyes as I could think of several shows that were more popular than some beach show and much like Ethan, Conner was one step away from drooling. Everybody in the cafe looked mesmerized at her while I just finished drinking.

Hayley then ran over to greet her, "Welcome to Hayley's Cybercafe! What can I get you?" Nikki said, "I'm just dying for a wheatgrass shake with a twist of lemon." Hayley replied, "Oh, sorry. We just ran out of wheatgrass. How about a banana berry smoothie?"
"Did I ask for a smoothie? I'm fairly certain I asked for a wheatgrass smoothie." Nikki rudely replied back. "And as I said, we're all out of wheatgrass." Hayley said, her excitement slowly fading away. "Look, I'll give you $100 for it." Nikki said, clearly not backing down. "I'm sorry, you can't really buy what I don't have." Hayley said, slowly starting to lose her patience. "Listen, I don't know if you've noticed this but I'm Nikki Valentia. There's nothing I can't buy." The celebrity retorted. I had enough and said to her, "Except for common decency, it seems."
"And who are you supposed to be?" Nikki said, glaring angrily at me.
"Just someone who doesn't like dealing with your stuffy, over-entitled, obnoxious-" I was about to say more but Nikki cut me off, "Forget it, I'm over this place." I muttered a chosen word under my breath though it did give Hayley a laugh and Kira jokingly said to me, "Not a big fan of her, huh?" I replied back, "With the way she was acting, who would be?"
Just as she was about to leave, Cassidy came in with her trademark microphone and said, "Ms. Valentia? Cassidy Cornell, Reefside High reporter. I'm a huge fan!" Nikki replied slightly annoyed, "Of course you are." "Someday, I'm going to be a big star someday except as a news anchor. Maybe we can work together, like I could be on Ocean Alert!" Nikki then retorted snootily, "Honey, you better get a new dream cause being me? That's mine and I'm not sharing." As much as I like to poke fun at Cassidy, that was just harsh. The diva finally left, with her entourage giving Cassidy a signed autograph of Nikki which she immediately tossed away.
"I have to meet her or my life will never be complete." Ethan said in a lovestruck daze. "Dude, are you even hearing yourself?!" I said, about to go crazy. "I'll introduce you guys at our wedding." Conner said though it did make sense for him to say that as he did love pretty girls with loads of makeup.
Kira rolled her eyes and I said to her, "It's gonna be a long day."
"My shift is officially over. Ready to go?" Trent said as he came over to Kira.
"Where are you two heading?" Ethan asked. "Trent's going to show me some sketches he's done from the cover of my demo." Kira replied. But just as they're about to leave, Trent's phone started ringing and when he looked to see who's calling and by the annoyed look on his face, it was someone that really wants to turn him into a corporate tool.
"Let me guess. Your dad?" Kira said to him, slightly disappointed.
"Yeah, he needs me at home. I'm really sorry." Trent apologized and began to walk away. As he left, I noticed Kira had a suspicious look on her face.
