love isn't enough

there is only so much we can do
as humans,
our time on earth,

and
the love we share

it seems like the love i gave you,
wasn't enough

i tried to love the pain out of you,
but sometimes

that's not enough

i'm sorry i let you down,
but i'm also sorry
i let myself down

cause,
where was the love for myself
when i needed it?
