Aha I haven't published in so long bc my free time is being a unicorn right now (that is, to say, it doesn't exist). Tonight, I was just like 'why not'... and now I'm writing another chapter... yeah.

7/1/16 (i just forgot how to write a date correctly. The American way: the month go first? Right? Yeahhhhh)

Dear my lovely diary,

Why do people write that at the start of a diary entry? I mean, diaries are inanimate objects. You don't write to a diary. That'd be stupid. Anyway, there are more important matters to be discussed:

AAAAAAGHHHHHH ITS THE FIELD TRIP DAYYY IM SCREAMING IN MY HEAD BECAUSE SCREAMING OUT LOUD IS WEIRD BUT OMG AND IM GONNA SEE MR. STARK AND ME AND NED AND MJ WILL GET TO SEE WHERE THEY LIVE!!!! I CAN PUT UP WITH FLASH BEING THERE IF IT MEANS I GET TO SEE THE REAL THOR!!! (No offense to Loki)
- sincerely, P.P

Peter shut his diary and hid it under the loose floorboard underneath his bed. He smiled as he got ready for school, not packing his books because he wouldn't need them. He had an extra 30 minutes to rest before he needed to leave, so he decided to make Aunt May coffee.

Then he realized she wouldn't be waking up any time soon, and what good was a cold cup of coffee to anyone? So he packed the coffee in a take-away container and started off to school.

"What's up nerd?" MJ greeted him in the hallway.

Peter smiled. "Hey. I can't believe we're really going to the Avengers compound! I mean, they're famous! We're not superheroes - not all of us are, anyway - and they are! They're Iron Man and Black Widow and Thor! And we're going... why are you laughing?"

"You're..." she paused, trying to find the right word, "crazy. You're crazy."

Peter gasped, "I am not!"

"Are so."

"Am not!"

"Yes, you are."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"What's up?"

"Oh hi Ned," Peter said. Ned was grinning so widely that Peter thought his face might split in half. "How's life?"

"How's life? HOW'S LIFE?! Peter, today is the day our lives truly begin! It's the day when we transition from boys to men, we're becoming people that could change the world, and you ask me how's life? Oh, life is amazing!" Ned gestured to an invisible audience, as if the whole world were watching them.

"Ok... I'm going to go..." MJ began to creep away. "But first..." she walked over to Peter and Ned. "Pinch punch, first day of the month, no returns!"

Peter rubbed his arm, which MJ had just punched. Hard. "Ow! What is wrong with you?"

"What isn't wrong with her is the real question," said Ned.

MJ tilted her head and narrowed her eyes. "Ned, do you enjoy being alive? Because sometimes, accidents can happen... people go missing..."

Ned backed up. "Umm... sorry, I- uh- b-bye?" He hurried away from them quickly.

Peter raised an eyebrow at MJ, who was chuckling.

"What?" She asked.

He shook his head, and they walked to get Ned and meet up with the rest of the decathlon team.

"Okay everyone, get on the bus slowly now, single file, no you can't ride on the roof you would fall off. Where's Abraham?"

"I'm right here!"

"Okay, okay... everyone's on? Good... yeah, okay. We're all good, let's go!" Harrington declared.

On the bus, Peter sat next to Ned and MJ in the back. Flash sat two rows up. He turned to look back at them as the bus began moving.

"Oi, Penis!"

Peter was about to respond, but MJ beat him to it. "Oi, Eugene!"

Flash glared at her. "My name's Flash," he said, his anger adding a whiny tone to his voice.

MJ smiled. "And his name is Peter."

Flash turned red. He huffed and sat down again, turning his back to them once more.

Ned started rummaging around in his backpack, and Peter watched in interest. What would he find? Food? A book? His phone?" The possibilities were endless.

"Aha!" Ned pulled out a deck of cards and a bag of goldfish. "Wanna play?"

Peter stared at the goldfish hungrily and nodded. He reluctantly tore his eyes away and looked at Ned. "Sure, what game?"

"Uhh well that's a good question. There's so many options... BS? Go fish?Bla-"

"Gold fish?" Peter asked in excitement.

Ned looked at the bag of goldfish in surprise, as if he'd forgot he was holding them, and threw them to Peter. "Uhhh blackjack? What else... solitaire?" Ned pondered.

"Solitaire? You can't play that with two people," said Peter through a mouthful of goldfish.

Ned shrugged. "It depends how you play it."

Peter shook his head. "No! There's only one way to play solitaire and that's alone! Solitary! One!"

"Agree to disagree."

They played a few rounds of BS, after some time MJ joined in. And, of course, she beat them every time. Soon, they were stopping outside of the compound.

"WE'RE HERE!" Ned screeched.

"Ok, everyone let's get out of the bus in an orderly fashion now... single file, no pushing. Flash, we're all going the same place, you don't need to go first." Harrington herded them all off the bus and towards the building in from of them.

It was big. And fancy, like everything the Avengers had. There were a lot of windows. Peter was in awe. The team stood there, looking up at the building, not noticing the man standing five feet away from them.

"Ahem."

They snapped back to reality and saw Tony Stark standing in front of them.

"OH MY GOD IT'S TONY STARK AGAIN!" Ned whispered in Peter's ear.

"Yeah, I have eyes," Peter whispered back. "But I KNOW RIGHT??"

"Hello, people! Follow me and we'll get down to seeing some avengers do some stuff! Sounds exciting, right?" Tony smiled at them and removed his glasses. He turned around and led the group of gaping, starstruck children to his and the other Avengers' home.

So this chapter was slightly shorter, which means the next chapter will be slightly longer. And I probably won't take two months to start writing it. Don't hold me to that.

All I have is my love of love, and love is not loving.
